    This is f***ing dumb too.

PBC make better fights than any of other promotional outfit. Look at essentially every big fight this past few months; Canelo-Plant, Wilder-Fury 3, Crawford-Porter, Pacquiao-Ugas, Charlo-Castano. Who did those fights all involve??? PBC.

PBC have their faults, so does TR, so does GBP and all the other minor league promoters too. But you can’t deny PBC are still making better fights than their competitors.

I think it’s been a good year. I think both Arum and Haymon actually deserve some credit for working together and making big fights like Fury-Wilder 3 and particularly Crawford-Porter. Canelo-Plant is another example of a cross promotional fight. It’s certainly an improvement on 2020, that’s for sure!

boxing is so ****ed, nobody fights each other anymore. You have one or two guys that have big balls and are actual fighters and the hold a division together- guys like Porter and Lomachenko, Pacquiao, Fury, Canelo etc

Boxing is so ****ed now lol
Nonsense. I'm sure you think it was great years ago when Mike Tyson was fighting everyone though, right? When he was beating... erm, and erm... and who now? Time fools all. Nash out.

Dana desperately wanted to get into boxing, but realized there was just no way to do it. There were talks about buying Top Rank, but TR's price tag is ridiculous and there are no takers.

PBC will eventually become the UFC of boxing and it's well on its way. Promoters will continue to get edged out one by one.

Would you guys be willing to shill out money for this? Ryan Garcia vs tank Davis with Cruz versus JoJo Diaz on the undercard. Now that would be a stacked pay per view, non stagnate, pure relevance. Dana White would do this? Even though he's a di¢k but sometimes a dictator is good: look at MMA! UFC puts on TREMENDOUS shows with nobodies flipping o has got to go. Why can't we be entitled to this?

Lol PBC is a cancer on boxing. It's the exact opposite, they are only trying to help american fighters avoid each other, and avoid real challenges so they can tip toe through the ranks while having a stage managed career. Anyone with half a brain knows this.

It's long been suspected that it is dodgy operation

Careful matchmaking appealing to a niche market of religious nuts.

People claim in the UFC the best always fight the best but we never got so many mega fights I.E Fedor vs Brock, Silva vs GSP, GSP vs Khabib, Khabib vs Tony, Rumble vs Jones, Jones vs Hendo etc etc

The thing is the UFC only have so many fighters in each division and just because they are fight under the banner people assume they're the best when its often not the case, there are many guys outside of the UFC who would do real well. So every week due to the amount of shows and total lack of depth/fighters the top 10 is flip flopping but people act like top 10 vs top 10 means we're getting the best fights but its not always the case. Just because a supposed top guy competes vs another doesn't mean its a great fight or great card especially as far as the UFC goes.

I think its different standards. The UFC apparently can't do any wrong and boxing even at its best just gets slated.
3 of those fights you listed that didn’t happen were signed but fell through.

Are you really trying to claim that the best fighters don’t fight the best fighters in the UFC the vast majority of the time?

Too late for UCF type structurein boxing because the top dogs in boxing are paid so much they ain't ever going back to lower pay as long as people are willing to pay to see them, generally its less than 4-5 guys that command the massive numbers and the rest must grovel for whatever they can get. When a boxer can take 100ml and the promotion and team all make money Danas one control system doesn't apply.

He did send Chuck into a Pride MW tournament once and bet the promoter that Chuck would win the whole thing.

No they often do or at least who they try make out is the best anyway but many have fell through or fell apart and often in combat sports its about when fights get made.
In boxing we moan this fight should have happened years back or they wasn't ready, this doesn't happen in the UFC.
And we are comparing a sport that has been around so long and is so big with so many fighters to what is merely just one organisation, its a tiny sample size of course when you have 1000 times as many fighters involved in boxing (not even including promoters & all that jazz) you will have a lot more fights not happen or fall through.

I can list many more including Ronda Rousey vs Cyborg and how they protected Rousey and slandered and assassinated Cyborg in the media to protect their cashcow who was never truly #1 and would have got badly beaten by Cyborg. What promoter, business, promotional company does this? I honestly think that woman had grounds to sue the way they treated her.
Because its such a small fighter base and they just keep churning out card after card on a weekly basis fans don't really bat an eye to fights falling through or out & they're simply happy to accept watching anything that is put on.
Could you imagine a world where boxing fans would accept world champions, top p4p fighters fighting guys with over 20 losses in main events? Could you imagine anyone accepting this being spoken of as a superfight?

The biggest fight in HW history, the biggest fight in womens history and the two best p4p fighters never happened in the UFC

To me the best fighting the best indicates a clear cut #1 vs #2 not #1 vs a fighter with 20 or more losses or a guy who has puts together maybe 2 wins over so & so competition.

I feel we don't truly see the best vs the best as much as people think there is just a more an acceptance as far as matchmaking goes and they question rankings a lot less
