Andre Arlovski is 32-20 and went 8-11 with a 4 and a 5 loss win streak yet wasn't cut and was actually seriously on the verge of a world title shot not long back

But Usman’s run of competition alone is better than any boxers in the last 10 years or more.

Every weight class in the UFC, all the top 5 have fought each other atleast once.

In Boxing today, there’s not a single weight class that has happened except maybe Crusierweight during Usyk’s run.
Agree 100%. You just can’t argue against this point. The UFC is set up to force the best to fight the best. You know when someone is special when they have a long streak as champ because it happens so little due to the stiff competition that champs have to face. As it should be

Usyk is an anomaly. Fury too I guess he’s fought a lot of the top guys in his division.

Ummm NO. White would under pay the fighters. MMA fighters get no where near the paydays that boxers get. Fighters deserve the money.

of course it would be a few decent fighters who run and sign with him but it wouldn't work he hates Bob Arum and Oscar De La Hoya so that immediate Eliminates more Potential Matchups from happening and that is the last thing Boxing needs more of right now...Another "Side Of The Street"

He had back-to-back losses prior to this run vs these awful opponents yet this got him ranked #2 in the world and funnily enough this one of Usmans best wins
You're being pretty selective with your information here. Askren was coming off of an (admittedly controversial) debut UFC win, and had entered the UFC undefeated in his 10 year career, and before that was a legit olympic caliber wrestler, and Jorge, as the underdog, KO'd him in 5 seconds, the fastest KO in UFC history. As for Till, at the time he was 17-1, 5-1 at UFC level (yeah I know the Wonderboy decision was arguable) and was coming off of a title shot. Jorge fought him the UK, again as the underdog, and knocked him out. Then after that Till moved up a weight class and as an underdog beat Kelvin, who at that time was coming off of a competitive war with Izzy for the title. As for Nate, he had looked great in his previous fight against Anthony Pettis (and Pettis had KO'd Wonderboy in his previous fight) and earlier this year rocked Edwards and if not for his terrible fight IQ probably could have finished it there, and Jorge beat the **** out of Nate.

Time, context and level of competition matters with these fights. You're also leaving out the part where Jorge beat Askren, Till and Nate back to back to back within the space of 9 months. Thats actually quite a good run and worthy of a decent ranking.

When was Arlovski on the verge of a title shot? he hasnt managed to string together 3 wins since 2015, the wins he these days gets are against fringe top 15ish type guys, and he already fought both of the last two champions before they won the belt. He hasnt had a title shot since 2006....

PBC is only a part of the problem. Gret rid of all belts, Haymon, Hearn, DLH, and ARUM. Promoters are destroying boxing and being that promoters are in the pockets of the sanctioning bodies, that makes it worse

He would if he could but he can't.

UFC is in the position boxing was 80 years ago - people do MMA worldwide, but UFC is the major league of MMA and everyone has to come here for the money and glory.

Boxing ain't that way. It's a fully matured sport with a giant and nuanced ecosystem and established hierarchies going back a century.

Eddie Hearn came to America with a BILLION dollars in his pocket to try and take over the sport and ended up making ZERO impact outside the UK.

The fcuk Dana White gonna do? Try and take over the sport by offering guys $250k to fight in a unification bout? Please.
