Why do Canelo fans get so combative when someone says GGG won both fights

I had Canelo winning the first 3 rounds and the last 3 rounds of the first fight pretty convincingly. If someone gave him one or 2 of the middle rounds I wouldn't be surprised, they were very competitive. But not the first 3 and last 3, Canelo clearly took them.

Well by your logic, what is Floyd? He barely beat Maidana and Castillo. How good is Hagler? He lost to Watts and Monroe. We could go on and on. Or I could. You don't seem to know much about boxing. lol

I thought he would KO Canelo in fight 1. I thought Canelo would fight more, and didn't think he could move around like he did. I also thought he would have more stamina issues vs GGG's pressure and would gas late and that's where GGG would win. That was a reasonable expectation against a guy moving up in weight and facing a guy like GGG. Canelo's issues seemed to be a good bet for a GGG KO.

Canelo came to survive, his stamina was better than expected (because he paced himself and gave away rounds), and he moved much better than I knew. He still lost though, both fights.

Hey you don't seem to rate GGG that high. That's cool. I think he was a great fighter and one of the best at MW to do it.

And you are entitled to your opinion. It doesn't bother me a bit. And when you guys refuse to give a guy (like GGG) even bare minimum credit for stuff he has done, I don't know why you would expect anyone to care about your opinion on him as a fighter or his standing overall.

You're just a little hater. I mean do you man, but I don't give a sh.it what you think. And even if you were a good judge of fighters and felt that way, that's fine too. Doesn't bother me.

Someone could make a good case against GGG. But you guys sound like you're about to cry every time you talk about him, so I don't take your opinions too seriously, no offense.

Stamina issues suddenly vanished, we know what time it is...

Nah the only real close fight GGG has had was vs Sergei. His fight vs Ouma was very even too but he KOed him. People acting like the Canelo fights, or the Jacobs fight, were close, but saying other fights out there had clear winners for some guys, is absurd. You guys are just impossible to take seriously.

You show your agenda with every fight and fighter....

Canelo didn't win more than 5 rounds in either fight, period, and that hurts Canelo fans.

Even though Canelo is a much better fighter now because of those losses, they won't admit reality.

That cracked me up man. The way you have to phrase that lol.

A win with controversy means you can make a case that the fight was a draw or went the other way, in other words finding 6 rounds for the loser. You can definitely make a case that the loser won 6 rounds in ALL of those fights, GGG vs. Canelo, Canelo vs. Trout and Lara, and GGG vs. Dervinchako and Jacobs

I thought Sergei was beating his ass at various points. He only got the short end of the stick because the first two rounds he got dropped, and then a big cut opened up in round 2. He was most likely down 2 rounds, 3 points after 2 rounds.

The last 10 rounds, to get a clean win, he would need to win 7 out of 10 rounds. And like I said, I could see someone scoring that for him. That is exceptional and tells the story of who was better overall for much of the fight.

But he dug himself a hole, and it was reasonable to have GGG getting 4 of 10 rounds too. I could see even a 5-5 split over the last ten. Sergei to me was better overall though and GGG had to rely on a big punch or two in a lot of rounds to keep the rounds close.
