Why do Canelo fans get so combative when someone says GGG won both fights

I had Canelo winning the first 3 rounds and the last 3 rounds of the first fight pretty convincingly. If someone gave him one or 2 of the middle rounds I wouldn't be surprised, they were very competitive. But not the first 3 and last 3, Canelo clearly took them.

Nah the only real close fight GGG has had was vs Sergei. His fight vs Ouma was very even too but he KOed him. People acting like the Canelo fights, or the Jacobs fight, were close, but saying other fights out there had clear winners for some guys, is absurd. You guys are just impossible to take seriously.

Both the Jacobs and Derevyanchenko fights had people calling them robberies despite your personal opinion. That's just the way they were recieved, man....

I thought Sergei was beating his ass at various points. He only got the short end of the stick because the first two rounds he got dropped, and then a big cut opened up in round 2. He was most likely down 2 rounds, 3 points after 2 rounds.

The last 10 rounds, to get a clean win, he would need to win 7 out of 10 rounds. And like I said, I could see someone scoring that for him. That is exceptional and tells the story of who was better overall for much of the fight.

But he dug himself a hole, and it was reasonable to have GGG getting 4 of 10 rounds too. I could see even a 5-5 split over the last ten. Sergei to me was better overall though and GGG had to rely on a big punch or two in a lot of rounds to keep the rounds close.

You seem to have more dignity than the canelo fans who seem to argue that In all of Canelo's controversial fights, he dominated or clearly won at least 7 rounds. Anyone who knows boxing knows this is the biggest lie ever, this is the big lie, almost like the real big lie. That none of them fights were with controversy.

Everybody can have an opinion but the fact is that those 2 fights are in the record book as a draw in the first fight and Alvarez winning a MD in the second fight.
It's good to be open minded and listen to another fan's point of view, but to argue opinions is just a waste of energy because there's no way to disprove an opinion.
Finally, did any fan on NSB, after pages of back and forth, ever change their opinion about anything? LOL

Canelo didn't win more than 5 rounds in either fight, period, and that hurts Canelo fans.

Even though Canelo is a much better fighter now because of those losses, they won't admit reality.

I don't understand how anyone who knows boxing, at all. Anyone who has watched 100 or so, or more, boxing fights - can say that Canelo deserved anything more than two 8-4 type losses in those 2 fights.

It's honestly hilarious and crazy to me that people really get on here and try and make the claim that Canelo won one of those, or both!! Of those fights lol. Just crazy
