Does Crawford get some credit from you guys or nah?
    You've seen my posts.

My stance has not changed, and won't.

Crawford gets full credit from me - and the media - if one of the following is true:
    1. Clean, CLEAR knockout (Porter on his back, Porter so badly wobbled he can't meet the 10 count, etc.)
    2. Clean, CLEAR stoppage (Kenny Porter tossing a towel, Porter so badly bloodied from punches he clearly can't continue, Porter takes a knee, etc.)
    3. Blowout - at least 9 CLEAR rounds won
    Anything else, no.

Notice, of what I put above. They are things that have NEVER happened to Shawn Porter or even close to happening, not even from the #1 welterweight in Errol Spence at his absolute prime.

Not only that, Crawford has never managed to do any of the above to any welterweight outside of a version of Jeff Horn that had a disrupted camp due to Crawford's faked injury.

    That's what a so-called P4P fighter does - is what other fighters can't do.

If he gets a W, I'll say he got a W, but I'm looking for evidence of this P4P status. Any of the 3 above affirms it. Any other result...he's just another (good) fighter like I've always said, NOT P4P.

That’s a fair assessment man. I’m cool with that.

        Agreed mate…..

          This.

Or if it goes 12, they'll say Crawford couldn't stop a shot fighter.

I've criticized Crawford before, but this is a good fight and a good test for Crawford. His reputation has been built on "the eye test" for so long, now he'll finally get tested by a real one.

& yes Porter has been rocked (Broner and Spence) and hes been outboxed (Julio Diaz). My thought is, Porter is going to eventually eat a counter and Buds going to finish him. I cant see anyway Porter outboxes Crawford and if he tries he will get caught that way too.

I predict Crawford catches him with an uppercut counter somewhere in the mid rounds and Porter isnt recovering.
So Porter who’s fought many quality fighters and has never been anywhere close to being stopped is gonna get KOed by an uppercut? The weakest of the power punches? Naaaaaaaaa

Even a past prime Postol gave Taylor and Ramirez big problems.
To call Postol really good is a stretch IMO.

I'm surprised people are rating Porter so highly on here. Terrence is another level imo, even when Porter was in his prime.

It's a good fight, but this is a world class fighter v a good fighter.

He'll ask questions I guess, but their not close in levels imo.

Crawford is still probably 3-5 range with a decisive win over Porter.
                  I like that 1-2-3!

listen I’ll give Crawford his due and I’ll shut up about the “hasn’t fought anyone” narrative. That’s enough for now.

I think he’s proven himself as a quality fighter. Crawford is the only guy to ever handle him easily.

I don't think that any right thinking boxing fan would call him a hype job or question his skill, boxing ability or ring IQ. What many fans have questioned; Including myself about Bud was the totality of his resume and especially his resume at the welterweight division.

Other than that, there is no denying the man's talent. He can fight; Which is why he is the heavy favorite to win against Porter and has been consistently ranked in the top 5 P4P fighters in the world over the past five years.
