GGG did well to pressure Canelo, seeing as GGG's best performance before that was knocking out Haircut Smellieux.

But its obvious why he couldnt win, his level is lower. Canelo went past that whilst he was still a light middleweight.

Like I said, 5% of fights are 'either way, 50/50' type of fights. Those 2 fights weren't. Canelo just got outworked by GGG. What I saw bears that out, as do the numbers. Just how it was.

If you guys want to pretend Canelo won, I don't care. I knew GGG needed to completely dominate or stop Canelo to win so I wasn't even surprised or bothered on the nights when they gave Canelo the draw and win.

That's boxing. But yeah GGG was the better man those nights. He's just a better fighter than Canelo. No shame in that though, GGG is a great one. Jab, power, workrate, hard to hurt. He's a tough matchup for anyone really.

GGG has a black eye, a cut, and a bruise. Canelo has a larger cut, and a smaller bruise. Not much there man lol. They were in a fight. Guys get marked up. I never said Canelo didn't do any good work in both fights.

By the way, I think those cuts, at least GGG's came in the last round as a result of the fight with a headbutt.

Regardless, you don't score fights based on a shaded picture after the fight lol.

I live in the US. Are you really trying to act like NJ is a neutral site? Come on man. It's in the US. I think it wasn't as much of a home field advantage for Ward, and the scorecards bore that out. They were closer than they would have been in Oakland. The right man won that night. It was a 7-5 type of fight. But if Ward ever traveled in his career, he would have had to deal with a more neutral ref, more neutral judges, and a more hostile crowd than he was used to. In large degree in all 3 areas.

Kessler was the 1 seed. He shouldn't have had to fight the 8 seed in the 8 seed's hometown. If you're just a boxing fan, we should all agree on that one.

2 judges had it 7-5. Did they not know what they were talking about? Did Ward get treated unfairly, in the US? lol. Ward won but he gave away some rounds to make it close.

If he fought Froch in the UK, maybe he gets bad cards instead of good ones like he always got. If he fought Kessler in a neutral site or away, he probably gets penalized more in that fight. Just how it was man. It's pretty obvious.

Huh? Kessler had 2 fights in the Super Six. One in Oakland, and one at home in Denmark.

Ward had 5 fights. 3 In Oakland, 1 more in California against a German, and the final one in New Jersey against an Englishman.
