If fight is on Tank's card, then the ball is on PBC's court. Send the offer to Joyce.

Joyce really don’t want none. Even this older version of Ortiz would embarrass him. The undaunted brave Wilder was the only brave soul to take on The Boogeyman ….For some time now, the “old man” excuse has been the convenient old excuse that casuals run to….they’re gonna stick with the excuse because in about two more years they’ll be right.

Wilder made an offer to Ortiz the day after someone went on social media and claimed Ortiz was much older then he said which must have had some credibility for team Wilder to follow up on it . Prior to that he said he would never fight Ortiz so I think we can rule out bravery here .

The only reason Ortiz was even available was be he ran off his own WBO mandatory spot for A.J. ( The boogeyman )

That's not how Ortiz operates. He blurts out a few words about how he wants a fight and maybe drops a new or two. Occasionally someone tries to make a fight with him and then there's crickets from Ortiz camp. We know it happened with AJ, it happened with Wallin and Joyce says it happened with him as well.

It would arguably be his hardest fight at this stage besides Wilder who he’s fought .
Darmani has skills and pedigree but he looked awful against Coffie. Out of shape and unmotivated, he slept walk thru the fight until he was stopped. Breadman Edwards hinted that there may have been some things behind the scenes that caused his career to go off the tracks.

Darmani is very lazy he doesn’t even know most of the top guys and doesn’t like being bothered of boxing talks . However he’s a danger to a guy like Ortiz should he actually show up and decide to lean on him and tire him out fir a late stoppage . It’s definitely one interesting then any fight Ortiz has been involved in since Wilder .

So long as Ortiz (who I have ******ly defended on these boards) fights one of those two next, all is good. I do NOT want to see him against anyone else. As fighters age, I get slowing down. But once a year is bad when you are fighting scrubs.

Ortiz against Ruiz? A crossroads fist fight with two guys whose styles would nearly assure us a glove throwing gladiator battle? I have wanted this one since toying with the idea of it for a HW unification match had Ortiz managed to beat Wilder and Ruiz won the rematch with Joshua. Easy sell.

King Kong against the Juggernaut? THOSE headlines write themselves. And while I do not love the style match-up as much, it is a grin inducing thought to see if the granite chin Joyce can figure out the fundamentally sound and still hard hitting Ortiz.
