Joyce mentioned a week ago that Ortiz was offered a fight and the Cuban turned it down. Ortiz also pulled out of negotiations for a Wallin fight. Wallin then signed for Whyte. Ortiz continues to push a false narrative of being an avoided fighter when it's painfully obvious that's not the case.

Ortiz is looking for a big money fight to get sparked out and retire on.

Joyce should call his bluff ,however seems like when a possible agreed to fight is on the Ortiz team throws a unrealistic number of money that’s not feasible and then they claim no one wants to fight them .

I would actually be surprised if he fought Rock who’s better then advertised ,he had a bad night . Wouldn’t be shocked if Rock beat Ortiz because he’s very young and a big guy who can punch . I’d give Rock a good chance to upset Ortiz ,though that’s not the guy I would want to do that . It would arguably be his hardest fight at this stage besides Wilder who he’s fought .
