Yeah but Plant claims he wants it, now, not in a year. Are we being lied to? It's beginning to look like it. He has had plenty to say about Canelo so it's just guna look like a bit of clout chasing if they don't follow through.

A lot of ppl have predicted this fight ain't guna happen and who will be to blame,, the PBC will make 1 offer that they know won't be accepted, completely ignore the DAZN offer and then just walk away claiming they tried. It's predicted by many cuz the PBC has form for doing this.

And Canelo won't be here in a year, not at 168 hanging on for plant.

again....its a calculated risk...yes something could happen and he might never get canelo fight....but thats the choice theyre willing to live with

Of course he allows some of his fighters to fight elsewhere sometimes, usually, like with Danny, when they're washed up and not much of a draw. Any of his undefeated prospects or high drawers he never does.

when wilder turned down DAZNs 100 mil deal he couldnt just have wilder walk away from that and continue to pay wilder 3 million for fights....he had to get him comparible money...which is why he got him the 2nd ortiz fight and 20 mil...he got him a ton of money for the breazeale fight....before he turned down that deal what do u think wilders cut of a wilder/brezeale fight would be? like 3-4 million???? ya that sounds about right...now go look at what wilder actually got......haymon had to get him comparible money to turn down that DAZN

you arent smart enough to get what im saying...if haymon is having plant walk away from a canelo fight, without plant agreeing with his vision, then haymon is going to have a disatisfied customer...and angry plant....unless he gets plant comparible money to the money haymon had him turn down...and guess what? there isnt...hes not going to overpay plant......so basically plant has to agree with haymons vision here or you would hear plant being disgruntled....hes not....he agrees......stay busy and earn and wait for the perfect time to hunt canelo......haymon obvi feels this isnt the ideal time ....when he does he will go after it....haymons guys believe and trust in him and he delivers much more often than not

Undoubtedly, the fight would look good on his resume. However, Canelo is not the be all and end all of boxing.

There was boxing before Canelo and there will be boxing after Canelo leaves. Obviously, the kid is in a very happy place now and he is content.

So not fighting Canelo now won't be the end of the world. There will be other opportunities for him in his career.

These pressure tactics by Eddie Hearn are not going to work. So if Canelo decides that he does want to fight Artur Beterbiev at 175; Then he should go ahead and make that fight happen ASAP.

He won't have to worry because Caleb Plant and Al Haymon won't stand in his way.

You can say that Canelo has a Mexican fanbase but I can't say that Caleb Plant can sell to the white fanbase?

I'm a boxing fan first and foremost. What I care about is seeing the best fight the best and boxers developing properly so they can reach peak skill level, which is special because it takes years of hard and careful work to achieve.

Al Haymon making money might get you wet but it means nothing to me. Especially if he is doing it by feeding Caleb Plant opponents like Truax and Feigenbutz. Those aren't great fights and Plant isn't growing by staying at that level.
