A lot of ppl have predicted this fight ain't guna happen and who will be to blame,, the PBC will make 1 offer that they know won't be accepted, completely ignore the DAZN offer and then just walk away claiming they tried. It's predicted by many cuz the PBC has form for doing this.

And Canelo won't be here in a year, not at 168 hanging on for plant.
lol....sure ....yeah al haymon is turning down a career high payday for a guy just because....all for himself! thats good for business! that will make others want to sign with him and keep him in business! lol......you guys never make any sense

if hes making plant turn down something large and true he will have to replace it on his own.....like he did with wilder when wilder turned down DAZN.....haymon had to go get him comparible money and he did jus that.....wheres he going to do that for plant? not really feasible

haymon cant convince guys to turn down good money and take less to do what haymon wants...it doesnt work that way and if he did that guys wouldnt want to work with him and nobody would sign with him.........you guys always make very little rational sense when trying to bash haymon and the pbc....always.........you dont win loyal fighters by turning down big money for them and making them take less.....haymon doesnt have a cult....he cant hypnotize people.....he has loyal fighters because he delivers for them....and when haymon thinks the time is right hell get plant that fight

stop trying to tell me haymon is only looking out for himself.....hes never done that and hasnt had a fighter accuse him of that ever and his fighters basically NEVER leave him........when danny jacobs got a great offer from hearn/DAZN he had danny take it and didnt interfere or try to talk him out of it...you are aware he still advises danny right?!?! its a joke when you guys try to accuse haymon of being for self...you have no evidence...only evidence of the contrary
Of course he allows some of his fighters to fight elsewhere sometimes, usually, like with Danny, when they're washed up and not much of a draw. Any of his undefeated prospects or high drawers he never does.

How is Al Haymon going to replace Undisputed? Have Plant face another unified champion at 168? Yeah he may over pay Plant to stay safe and keep fighting average competition to compensate but he won't cover what he is set to lose financially, he never got Wilder the same money as Wilder lost out on from not facing AJ and Haymon certainly can't get him a fight with somebody else for undisputed, which is something Plant claims he dreams of.

bro....youre delusional.....you can keep bashing haymon and wishing him away....but hes not going anywhere

when wilder turned down DAZNs 100 mil deal he couldnt just have wilder walk away from that and continue to pay wilder 3 million for fights....he had to get him comparible money...which is why he got him the 2nd ortiz fight and 20 mil...he got him a ton of money for the breazeale fight....before he turned down that deal what do u think wilders cut of a wilder/brezeale fight would be? like 3-4 million???? ya that sounds about right...now go look at what wilder actually got......haymon had to get him comparible money to turn down that DAZN

you arent smart enough to get what im saying...if haymon is having plant walk away from a canelo fight, without plant agreeing with his vision, then haymon is going to have a disatisfied customer...and angry plant....unless he gets plant comparible money to the money haymon had him turn down...and guess what? there isnt...hes not going to overpay plant......so basically plant has to agree with haymons vision here or you would hear plant being disgruntled....hes not....he agrees......stay busy and earn and wait for the perfect time to hunt canelo......haymon obvi feels this isnt the ideal time ....when he does he will go after it....haymons guys believe and trust in him and he delivers much more often than not

haymon and plant are realistic...they know they wont beat canelo....so canelo is a cashout fight......they arent ready for that yet

if canelo pastes plant calebs days are numbered...there will be little interest left in him...his earning power goes down....everything...yeah hell have a nice nest egg for the family and all...and thats great.....but interest will wane....hell have to rebuild that.....not easy at his age...hes not a 23-24 year old kid........

the fight will still be there 2-3 fights from now...he can earn....raise his stake....and then get even more money.......
Caleb Plant happens to be white. If he keeps on being successful it will be easy to sell him to the American public. That's just a fact.

Taking a loss to Canelo wouldn't be the end of the world. If he learns from the loss and gets better than that is all positive and fans won't turn their back.

You seem more interested in Haymon manufacturing a paper champion career for him that is all smoke and mirrors with no substance. Instead of him being a real and genuine fighter who takes a risk while still getting a fat Canelo payday.

Promoter/network/platform cheerleaders like you are the worst kind of fanboys.

Then why try to pretend that they are ready for that yet? That's the story Plant and his management have been pushing for the last year. They are still trying to convince us they want it.

And you do realise that by turning it down for the reasons you state considering all they have had to say about fighting Canelo now it is the epitome of a duck.

Undoubtedly, the fight would look good on his resume. However, Canelo is not the be all and end all of boxing.

There was boxing before Canelo and there will be boxing after Canelo leaves. Obviously, the kid is in a very happy place now and he is content.

So not fighting Canelo now won't be the end of the world. There will be other opportunities for him in his career.

These pressure tactics by Eddie Hearn are not going to work. So if Canelo decides that he does want to fight Artur Beterbiev at 175; Then he should go ahead and make that fight happen ASAP.

He won't have to worry because Caleb Plant and Al Haymon won't stand in his way.

because keeping your name tethered to canelo doesnt hurt you...it only helps you...if people start saying "this plant guy might fight canelo soon lets check him out" it doesnt hurt.....the same way canelo was being tethered to floyd before they fought...even put on his undercards...."hey this kid might fight floyd soon thats the rumor" was def going around during that time..........same reason bud crawford knows him and spence wasnt going to be happening for awhile but still goes around and is asked about it and talks about it from time to time........plant will still talk canelo because he has intentions of pursuing the fight when they feel its the best time for them

You can say that Canelo has a Mexican fanbase but I can't say that Caleb Plant can sell to the white fanbase?

I'm a boxing fan first and foremost. What I care about is seeing the best fight the best and boxers developing properly so they can reach peak skill level, which is special because it takes years of hard and careful work to achieve.

Al Haymon making money might get you wet but it means nothing to me. Especially if he is doing it by feeding Caleb Plant opponents like Truax and Feigenbutz. Those aren't great fights and Plant isn't growing by staying at that level.
