I think Shoulder Roll wants the fight now because Plant and the PBC told us it was guna be now because they want it now. Maybe if Plant and his team had said from the start that they were not looking to cross paths with Canelo and had no interest in undisputed maybe Boxing fans wouldn't be so eager to see it.

It’s his loss if he wants to go down in history for ducking the #1 P4P fighter, 168 Ring/WBC/WBO/WBA champion, and boxing’s cash cow when he had the chance to fight him.
He probably figures he would look better ducking him than getting KO’ed by him. At least this way Canelo’s critics can speculate that Plant could have beaten Canelo. If the fight happens and Canelo beats him up then he takes away that speculation and it’s not fun that way. We need that one obscure fighter to hype that Canelo ducked like the plague. Like Mayweather ducking Vivian Harris and Junior Witter at 140.Comment

But the thing is, the Internet posters like you describe have little real world experience as well this irrational mental block where they can't admit they have ever been wrong on anything.
So when they say ****** things out of sheer ignorance and get called on it, they argue and argue and argue until the other person finally leaves and then they say they were right all along.

A rational person would just admit they were wrong and they'd never looked at it that way. They might even thank you for sharing knowledge with them.

If they didn't want to fight Canelo then just say so. Why pretend like you want that smoke when you really want to preserve your 0 against soft touches instead? If you care more about being a paper champion than you do about your biggest career payday AND biggest legacy fight then just be honest about it.

because keeping your name tethered to canelo is good for you.....especially if you do want to fight him at a later time......the same way canelo was on floyd undercards and the rumors were circulating heavily that they were planning on matching him with floyd in the near future........keep building up interest in plant/canelo while youre biding time....its really simple....so im amazed you simpletons cant understand itComment

I think Haymon wants to hang on to the belt. So they'll basically pay Plant to keep it hostage fighting nobodies. Ultimately he makes the same money as he would fighting Canelo but it takes him longer and more fights to do it.
Plus he gets to call himself a 'World' champion.
If i had my way he'd get booed out of the building anytime he fights. It's a blatant, cynical duck if he doesn't fight Canelo and the whole boxing world should object to it. Plant should be ridiculed for not doing the fight.
