like i said earlier...some of you have a broke person menality.....youd just jump at the highest figure as soon as possible even if had consequences
plant, if hes smart, already likely has a nice home that is paid for...and enough money to live off for awhile.....but the reality is whats best for him is to earn as much as possible while he can....and hes about 30 years old....
if he goes out and gets beat 8-4, or wider, or gets knocked out by canelo his career and intrigue is essentially over...i dont literally mean he wont ever get another fight...or he couldnt ever be a meaningful fight again...i dont mean hell retire.....but the caleb plant that exists today will no longer exist.........instead if he cant prolong this for another 2-3 fights and earn some good money for those fights....and continue to talk canelo and build towards it...he can increase his stance...and the fight will be worth more then.....
its a calculated risk yes....but hes willing to take it....haymon is pretty good at what he does.....i think plant would rather take that loss later than sooner ....if he were 23-25 he might feel differently.....but hes not exactly "young" in a sport/athlete sense....
