it happens specially in comedy movies..
after counting, pushing the other person to the neutral corner and having a hard time what number did he stop.. lolComment

The fighter goes by the refs count. He has no control over whether its fast or slow. His job is to be aware of that count and be ready to continue before the ref reaches ten. Can't blame the fighter in this situation in my opinion.Comment

I just rewatched it and in no way was there a long count..
he didn't slow down while counting, he resumed the count after sending Pacquiao to the nuetral corner and looking at the ring side guy counting.
If you want to get all technical and nit pick little **** though, Manny Pacquiao could have been disqualified for punching Marquez while he was down.Comment

Not that Im aware of, no. Its an imperfect science that has been in issue through out boxing history. 3 fights that come to mind right off that bat regarding this are Tyson-Douglas and the second Liston-Ali fight, as well as Dempsey-Tunney 2. Actually now that I think about it I believe a ref isn't supposed to start his count till the other fighter is in a neutral corner. I may be wrong though.Comment
