The ref relies on the timekeeper to give him the proper count, all avid boxing fans knows that. The other fighter who scored the KD or a probable KO, will be directed by the ref to go to a neutral corner, but the ref won't start counting at ONE automatically, it's what the timekeeper will give him where to start the count. There's no time lost even if the other fighter took a bit longer to go to a neutral corner, not unless the ref was Marlon B. Wright...Comment
