Do you think Otto would have troubled Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Holmes or even Lyle or Shavers? Really. Don't let Fury's one night stand against Wilder the second time define him. See how he stands the test of time and different styles before you elevate him to "great" status. He certainly hasn't earned it at this point. Be real. I still think he looks like a stork imitating a hummingbird. No grace whatsoever.
I agree he needs to do way more to be elevated to greatness status but if u can't see the grace in a 6'9 behemoth moving like a middleweight u don't know what your looking at

Foreman was something... Frankly as intimidating as Tyson was, Foreman had a legit mean streak a mile wide. Norman Mailer wrote a great article on him and pointed out that Foreman had/has shark eyes. Tyson liked the sport, and you could take him out of his search and destroy attitude with an appeal to history, etc. Lewis spoke about how tyson loved to talk about studying the great fighters. Richard Pryer described Foreman coming into the ring to fight Ali: Pryer says, "So... Big George comes in looks around and says 'which one the referee?' Good cause im gonna kill the other mther fker."
You're like a boxing encyclopedia my man, very informative and non partisan, compared to the ultra bias debating that usually goes on here

I constantly said he wasn't even close, because it was easy for him to look good against the level of fighters he fought. Now that's common knowledge and he is exposed. Just like I am now saying that Fury has fought mostly bums and he is not unbeatable like a lot of you think. Within his next few fights, you will all see this to be true as well.
I haven't heard anyone say he hits harder than Mike Tyson but maybe I've missed those posts, in regards to ppl comparing him to Ali, maybe they are referring to his footwork in the ring and how he's doing it as a 6'9 monster, but again I haven't heard ppl say he's better than Ali, but imo I'm not sure Ali beats him so I guess I'm saying it now

In Fury's case Joe Lewis was a superior boxer with great footwork and a short compact punch that Fury wouldn't be able top handle. Marciano would get inside on Fury and batter him without mercy. The only way Fury beats Marciano is to avoid engaging with him. Marciano was a fighter who was throwing punches in the later rounds with the same power he threw them in round one and with the same ferocity, Fury would not be able to stand against the onslaught, Marciano by KO by round 13. Most boxing historians rate Ali and Lewis as the two best heavyweights that have ever fought with Sonny Liston being in the mix as well. Ring Magazine's List of the top heavyweight boxers of all time does not include Tyson Fury. Fury has yet to prove himself over the log haul although I'd probably put him at number 15 or so. So my opinion is based on my personal eye test and the expert opinion of those with the credentials I trust.

Once again, I've never once broached the topic of race but you did. All I am saying is that you are partial in your beliefs because you are a Tyson Fury fan which is very understandable. Every boxing fan has their favorites, likes and dislikes. Since my interaction with you; That's all you've done is bring up the topic race and the LDBC when discussing your favorite fighter to deflect from his alleged crimes and iniquities against Deontay Wilder.

You tell me. Ortiz has been calling out the elites of the Heavyweight division for years including: Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte and Andy Ruiz and they have all ducked him and my question is why? It's also why he is still considered the bogeyman of the division because everyone is still afraid of him and doesn't want to fight him.

The level of both emotion and delusion on some of these posters on here is staggering. Thank you, you are right and I agree. Their hatred for Wilder runs extremely deep. Obviously, this dude is ****** and needs educating.

Sad to hear that you think he was also complicit in his defeat by not bothering to focus properly.

As Breland has already revealed, he wasn't training properly, so I think you're also probably right that his motivation wasn't in the right place training-wise. As for this third fight, the proof of the pudding is in the eating -- we won't really know about how well prepared he is until the bell rings. Maybe he'll get tired early again tussling with the lump; maybe he won't. I'm looking forward to finding out.
Or just maybe the referee would do the right thing this time by disqualifying his ass.
