A woman, and with a headkick...because she was also a kickboxer and had been fighting pro in MMA for 5 years at that point.

With the amount of belts and cherry picking it could happen under the right circumstances tbh. You dont think Ngannou would have a shot against Stiverne or Charles Martin?

Because she was the draw for the event. Boxer doing MMA is the draw here.

Greatest woman boxer of all time at her peak moving into MMA, was the real hook specifically. There have been low level boxers who have moved into MMA before.

Likewise Conor as a top level MMA fighter getting into a pro boxing match was massive.

            Doubt it.

She is probably thinking she could get to the UFC within a few years and then leverage her new found name value into bigger paydays/more exposure in boxing when she returns.

Nah. I think her goal is to become the first boxing & MMA champ at the same time.

where were you last month when I was trashing Billie Joe Saunders? Guess you missed it. Crawl back in your little ***-hating hole scumbag.
I don't need to post them. I can just direct people to go read the Lounge.

On the flip side, can you post any examples of me ***-hating? Examples that DON'T involve criticism of the Rothschilds?

                  Yeah...I didn't think so.

Not all that long ago they were.

Lucas Browne won the "regular" WBA title from Chagaev after switching from MMA to boxing too. And Whyte and Jarrell Miller were both mediocre kickboxers first, the latter lost twice to an old Cro Cop who had been recently cut from the UFC after three KO losses in a row.

All I can tell you is Whyte fought Anthony Joshua in the amateurs and that was 12 years ago.

So I don't know how Whyte was expected to be more than mediocre as a kickboxer as he must have been about 20 years old and I don't know many pro fighters who have mastered the art at that age.
