    “Power? Check.”

    C’mon man…

Shakur is far more skilled technically, Haney ate more clean shots last night than Shakur has taken in his entire career.
    Haney has power man.

He just generates it in an extremely inefficient way. In a way where at the highest level of boxing, will get his ass beat up for it.

But yes, Shakur is more skilled than Haney for sure. He is very technically refined, where Haney is not.

But I think Shakur's style is going to get exposed at some point. He's emulating Pretty Boy Floyd without the power to keep opponents honest.

He gets away with it right now because he hasn't faced opponents with the ability to punish him for it. I won't be surprised if he gets found lacking when he makes that jump into the area that Lomachenko, Heny, Davis et al. currently reside.

Also, remember. Devin Haney (23) is 1 year younger than Shakur (24) as well. So, even though Shakur is a weight class down from Haney.

At some point, Shakur is going to run into Haney or Ryan Garcia etc and I will guess that he won't be able to PBF with those guys. He's going to pay for a lack of power in that risky style of boxing.

He obviously has some pretty good skills but I just I don’t see this future pound for pound star that they are trying to market him as.

Also people saying he might be better at 140, I’m not sure. He’s lucky Diaz was a featherweight with average power because the amount of clean shots he got caught with would’ve put him on his back against a solid 140 fighter

The Floyd comparisons are laughable. A young Mayweather was 10x the fighter Haney is.
Respect on the flag. Non **** kisses

He couldn’t put a dent in a faded Linares or shot Gamboa.

Shakur is a slick southpaw, how’s that comparable to Floyd at 130-35???

What are talking about mate? I’m sorry but this is nonsense.

He uses Floyd's style from 130-135. Right down to the pull counter and lead check hook. Being southpaw makes no difference if you are emulating someone.

Haney couldn't knock them out but he had the power to keep them honest.

As I said, Haney just isn't refined. He doesn't sit down on his punches and his feet are all over the place when throwing power shots. It's no surprise the only way he can really knock someone out is when he winds up like Deontay Wilder.

I think what you want to say is Shakur > Haney. But I don't believe that is true.

Haney has more natural gifts than Shakur. Shakur isn't going to suddenly be Terence Crawford because he gained 5 lbs. Not unless he loads up on PEDs.

So, time will tell but I won't be surprised if he gets exposed when he fights someone who can match his speed and footwork, while carrying the pop that he lacks.

Haney can't put a hole in a wet paper bag.

Shakur is a totally different league to Haney.

People need to stop comparing every young black fighter to Floyd. Tank, Haney now Shakur.

give it some time then and we'll see.

Haney is younger than Shakur. They will run into each other eventually.

                    Untrue.

Tank clearly takes some cues from Mayweather. Even his coach says so. But mainly, Tank is most similar to Aaron Pryor. Again, his own coach drilled him to fight like Pryor from youths.

Haney to me isn't like Mayweather at all. He's like a James Toney without the natural ability to me.

Shakur emulates Pretty Boy Floyd all the way.

How do you think he fights like Toney?

                      I see almost no similarities.
