I think Warren cleared up a lot of things today.- Firstly, nothing between Fury and Joshua was signed for Aug 14. It was all verbal talk.
- Secondly, the agreement reached between Warren, Arum, Hearn, Fury, and Joshua regarding splits, etc. explicitly included the Widler arbitration clause that Hearn signed. So, him claiming that he was lied to or misled by Bob is a lie. Sure thing Bob thought he would win or that the arbitrator would give some compensation, but that's Bob's opinion. The signed document states otherwise.
- Thirdly, the fight was NOT going to be signed that day or the next. Several things needed to be ironed out including which British broadcaster will telecast and what would be the split.
- Fourthly, Wilder did NOT ask for any step aside money. So, Eddie claiming that $20M is a wild exaggeration and misleading.
- Finally, it was agreed upon that both parties will unanimously announce that fight. Eddie kept on giving interviews that the fight is one and will be signed tomorrow or next week when in reality many things remained to be sorted out. The fight could have been later than Eddie was telling everyone unless everything magically came together.

ad I said before, fury was legally bound to the contract he signed. There was never any way out of this. As Alex Holland said in Swamp Thing, “the only way out is through.”

if a white heavyweight champion of the world no forget it, if any other highly publicised sports figure were to send a direct message to an Obscure fellow athlete and directly tell them

How do you think that would go down? Are you saying they wouldn’t be deemed a racist? I hope you really think before you answer this aswell oldskoolG.
because I’ve always respected you and you’re opinion, but I’m ready for you today sir. So the floor is yours.

all well and good except go watch Eddie’s interview. He didn’t claim $20m was exaggerating , he said he was told immediately by Bob arum they would be taking the fight and isn’t aware any attempt for any offer was made at all.
he also confirmed that it was signed with a clause effectively saying “subject to” the result of the hearing.
It’s in franks interests to try and weasel away from the biggest fight in history with some sort of reputation in tact, but reality is we all know what happened and it wasn’t on Eddie or matchroom or Joshua.

Something tells me, there's more to just "disappointment" in these promoters trading jabs on youtube. AJ's contract with Eddie and his broadcaster is coming to an end (after 1 fight). Similarly, Fury's ESPN (and I assume Arum) deal might also be coming to an end. What's to say both Eddie and Arum/Warren aren't trying to convince AJ and Fury that the other guy is responsible for the fiasco and maybe they should consider switching sides?
Any promoter would be happy to grab either Fury or Joshua.

now the superior black race bit, you can have that ones I won’t defend that. I suspect that he said it because he felt his black brother should have supported him and he felt a betrayal. It’s no surprise that he speaks this way among his people. I cannot keep track of all the times someone said something racist to me about blacks, Asians, Latinos, and even ***s (I’m an auburn haired pale while skinned *** who is largely of welsh, Scottish, Swedish, French, and Irish blood with a dash of Moroccan Sephardic blood)
because they thought I would join them in that sort of talk. One thing is for certain, Olafemi a people....blacks, Nigerians, west Africans, and even the Caribbeans have almost no power to institute real racism on the U.K...they cannot prevent t you from having a job, cannot deny you housing, cannot create a glass ceiling for whites, cannot erect statues on public land that extols black supremacy etc etc therefor his comments cannot hurt me. So is he a bigot? Possibly. Can his bigotry harm me? No. Am I apart of a group that has harmed his group? Absolutely.

He couldn't really give a straight answer, I think he knows he ****ed up there.
Also, I think he said an arbitrator can't order a fight but isn't that what happened with the Lewis-Rahman rematch?
I just don't understand this weird move from team Fury, why not fight Wilder in December when he wanted the rematch instead of pretending to never want to fight him again, then pretending to want to fight Kabayel instead, then pretending to negotiate for an AJ fight all while knowing it could potentially not happen? Strange decision making throughout, at first I thought they were trying to slyly bypass the Wilder fight to get AJ sooner but the fact that they never made an effort to make that fight, nor did they make any effort to negotiate a step-aside fee/guarantee at the winner with Wilder, just makes it more confusing. Was all this just to delay the Wilder rematch or are they doing all this to duck AJ? Weird behavior.
The level of ****** on this site is going through the roof...
