Lmao the same Eddie who himself was aware of the arbitration and where it was at. He himself commented on the whole situation and he was pretty adamant wilder would win, then when he got to attach his name and Joshuas to fury he acted like the court case won’t be a problem!

Bob, Tyson and Frank wasn’t happy with Eddie running to media every other day saying things were further along then they really was! In this interview Eddie claimed that Tyson always said it would NEVER happen. But he didn’t. They made clear things aren’t as done as Eddie is saying.

Kinda strange how Eddie Hearn NEVER EVER put all eggs in one basket for AJ And always has a back up option, but this time he didn’t? Kinda funny huh?

personally, I think this is Eddie, Anthony and rest of that team fuming that they cannot just pick and choose who they gonna fight.

they don’t want to fight Usyk. Joshua don’t fight like Del Boy chisora. Joshua when faced with a top fighter is sooo cagey in the opening rounds. I don’t see how Joshua outboxes Usyk.

He needs the KO or Eddie gotta pay those judges. I hope Usyk stands his ground and refuses any kind of rematch clause, he’s mando so forget about the extra couple of M’s they’d give for you to accept that clause and here’s why, If Usyk Does Dethrone AJ, hes then unified HW Champ of the world, he can then rematch Joshua on HIS terms, not some pre arranged BS. and if he doesn’t like what Eddie and aj come with he can go off and fight the winner of Fury-Wilder III

That would be the dream scenario for me, Usyk takes Joshuas belts and doesn’t even sign a rematch clause, these clauses are holding the sport back somewhat, and then we will see how big “matchroom boxing” and “258 Management” are in the world of boxing won’t we!!

2021 could be a Marvelous year!

Yup, once wilder named his price, I don’t know what Eddie expects bob and Tyson to do after that? Give away $20M? Would wilder of signed away his rights to any rematch for that? Or would he literally step aside for 6 months and then still get his rematch?

Eddie is one of if not THE biggest hypocrite In boxing atm, he challenges other promotions fighters to step up and be brave etc, yet his whole model is based off fighting the weakest and softest touches he can find! He literally takes said fighter wins a vacant title, earns them a bit of money, rips England off with terrible PPV and then the guy retires.

Hearn is just sulking because he never wanted AJ to go anywhere near USYK. proof is in the pudding he knew by Friday just gone the fury fight was dead, yet instead of instantly getting Usyk fight sorted, he wanted until MONDAY!!? now we know why that is dont we?

eddie is setting up this narrative, so when AJ drops his WBO they’ll say it’s because “fury didn’t try to save the fight, why should we”?

and then the U.K. will be treat to Either
      Joshua/Whyte 2

or who I believe is the front runner To fight AJ:

      MANUEL CHARR!

To all my Brits, Coming this summer we will have...

        ANTHONY JOSHUA vs MANUEL CHARR

for the WBA Hip Replacement Championship of the WORLD. EXCLUSIVE TO SKY SPORTS BOX OFFICE FOR THE SMALL PRICE OF ONLY £29.99!

Best believe Eddie and SSN are painting the narrative for when they drop the WBO Title.
then Hearn will come out with some statement about how fury didn’t try to save the fight so “Why should we be dictated too, we’ve done everything we could”. But Eddie has rescued boxing right guys?

I mean Joshua had to wait til fury sparked wilder before saying he wanted to fight deontay.

he waited for fury to end Klitschko before AJ fought WLAD.

He waited for Deontay Wilder to spread Louis Ortiz on the canvass X2 before even considering a sparring session with him!!

and Femi is going around calling other guys the fraud? As a hard working black man, I hate everything AJ stands for. Racist. Arrogant. Ungrateful.

Stylistically this ONLY BENEFITS Joshua even more.... say he takes the Usyk fight... That gives him longer to prepare and to test out stuff hes worked on to fight against "these style boxers"... Hes not fooling anyone...

And if Fury didnt take it serious behind closed doors that tells me he had "privvy" to future outcome eventually on where this all would take them both...Which is SMART.... He can get Joshua training and focused on him with a different opponent shoved in front of him sorta latter minutes? All the while knowing who he was probably going to face (Wilder) anyways... That to me if true, is what seperates good from great when skill levels reach this level.. its IN the details... Mind games... and "maneuvering ability".... The MORE Hearn speeks the smarter it makes Fury look?

This fool doesn't get it. There was a court-ordered injunction against Fury from fighting anyone other than Wilder.

This Fury-Joshua thing was a dream Hearn was rudely awaken from last week.. Short of trying to give a guy step-aside money, who didn't want it, what does this idiot think Arum and Fury should've done to "salvage an imaginary fight?"

Perhaps he should've taken the 10-20 million dollar fake step-aside offer, dipped into AJ's purse, and doubled it for Wilder, since he's so incensed.

Maybe somebody needs to explain the whole "arbitration" process to him.

Eddy was crushing the competition when he said 150 million, he wasnt looking for empathy then. Everybody was on tender hooks, and Eddy did the footwork, straight to the prince. A Herculean task, months piddling with the sheik, gone for naught.

If all of that information that came from his own mouth was true. In fact, if any of that was true. Then, yes, he should be suing his manager.

But he's not. So draw your own conclusions.

The outcome is that he's now facing up to a fight that could have already taken place months ago. Fury has been without income for 18 months of his prime. And he's the lost the biggest payday of his career.

So why is he on board with what has happened?

Again, you should be able to draw your own conclusions.
                  Here's what I believe happened.

For team Fury (Fury, Arum, and Warren), Wilder was a good but dangerous fight. They fought the second fight, got good money, and won. After that, it was a question of risk/reward against Wilder. The pandemic set in and the Wilder fight was more risk and less reward. But they had no choice since Wilder had activated the rematch clause. Things started slipping and Fury-Wilder did not look very lucrative without any crowds.

Come Nov/Dec. and Fury and his team started having other ideas. Let's forget about Wilder for the moment. If Fury can cash in his new fame and get a fight with a low-ranked fighter (Kabayel), it will do some earnings and keep Fury active. AFTER THAT, they can fight Joshua. Wilder started a legal case and the issue went for arbitration. The Kabayel fight was out of the question. Team Fury is not interested in risking a Wilder fight and feel they couldn't get a tune fight for Fury. OK, then...if the money is good, they can go directly to a Joshua fight since the other plan is not going well. If they reject the Joshua fight, they may have to fight someone else for a lower pay and may be required to fight a mandatory later (Whyte or someone else). Again a risky fight. Not interested. However, they well knew that Wilder may win the arbitration and Fury will have to fight him. So, neither Arum nor Warren is ready to do any serious effort to arrange a Joshua match or finalize anything else because of the Wilder situation.

In comes Eddie. Team Fury believes that even though they are not ready to take the risk, they won't mind if Eddie does. If the money is good and things work out (Wilder situation), we may take the fight. IF it doesn't work out, well we haven't promised anyone anything so that won't affect us. It ain't costing them anything. They played along thinking/wishing the Wilder situation would go away but were keeping it behind closed doors until something concrete can come out. Surely, they weren't signing anything before that because they cannot.

But who's going to stop Eddie from giving interviews all around? "I am the one working on this", " I am the one making the Saudi fight", "it will be signed next week", etc. Meanwhile, team Fury stuck to their plan. Keep your mouth shut on the AJ fight, pretend you want it and continue waiting because you really cannot do anything until the decision is out. Otherwise, they would have fought Kabayel in December. Eddie never thought of that and was too excited trying to prove HE is making the fight and giving interviews to every other youtuber, and repeating claims he knew he shouldn't be making. It will all bring him fame and he was cozying up to the Saudis. Finally, the news broke. Team Fury knew that was a possibility and immediately shifted to their plan B. Eddie looks bad for promising to the Saudis, for believing an arbitration can only go one way because Arum thinks so, for starting negotiations without a guarantee in place, and for telling us non-stop that the fight is finalizing "next week" without consulting team Fury. Arum said multiple times that Eddie should avoid making such statements, though he wasn't truthful of the reasons why.

In summary, Arum did not say "Stop it Eddie. We cannot do anything until the situation is clear" because he was willing to let Eddie take the risk and would go along if the decision is in his favor. Eddie, on the other hand, wouldn't stop talking and hyping the situation knowing fully well that nothing is final without the arbitrator's decision.

And they probably "defended" themselves the same way in arbitration.
They wanted to lose the case against Wilder.
Arbitration? What arbitration? That judge works for Team Fury. He is Bob Arum's best friend. It was all a face-saving publicity stunt in order to undermine the Joshua/Fury undisputed bout. They never planned on fighting AJ. However, they couldn't find the exact exit route in order to get of it but this so-called alleged arbitration ruling gave them that perfect out. Eddie Hearn just got badly burned, outwitted and out foxed by the old shark. It was like Bob Arum was playing a game of poker with Eddie Hearn while taking him to the cleaners in the process

The trouble with Eddie Hearn is that he's an idiot. He talks way too much. You never let the other side know what you are thinking and planning. You never tip your hand and always hold your cards very close to the vest like Bob Arum did. Team Fury just sat back and watch Eddie Hearn get burned and make a complete fool out of himself while laughing all the way to the bank. This only goes to show that Eddie Hearn has a lot to learn and growing to do as a business man. He allowed both his arrogance, exuberance, zeal and impatience to get the better of him.
