Yeah he really got hustled Minnesota Fats style. He really comes out of this looking like a total amateur. He had a lot of money behind him via blavatnik and all but it’s clear he isn’t on the level of Haymon, Arum, and Warren in terms of knowing the business. He he made the mistake of putting all his chips in on the Joshua-fury hand abs worked on nothing else. Meanwhile, pbc was setting up a summer of fights that looks like there never was a pandemic and best of all it has been done quietly. Edward needs to learn to move in the shadows and not be such an ifl tv star for the sweet carolines

lol what? Hearn put together the biggest pay day possible for both fury and AJ. It’s not a case of him being out hustled, arum and team fury just ****ed their own client. He held up his end of the bargain, they didn’t take care of business on their side and now their client will be earning less money. I don’t see how Hearn looks bad in this. He had one job to do and he did it.

Hearn is exposing fury wilder haymon arum conspiracy. Fury wilder have some kind of corrupt alliance conspiracy and they think they can freeze out Johsua and make the big money by just fighting each other and a bunch of hired patsies and divers.

Shame on all the dumb and dumber idiots who blame Hearn and AJ. It's beyond obvious fury and wilder are fraud pretenders who want to play in a WWF rigged set up, and never fight the true king AJ.

He couldn't really give a straight answer, I think he knows he ****ed up there.

Also, I think he said an arbitrator can't order a fight but isn't that what happened with the Lewis-Rahman rematch?

I just don't understand this weird move from team Fury, why not fight Wilder in December when he wanted the rematch instead of pretending to never want to fight him again, then pretending to want to fight Kabayel instead, then pretending to negotiate for an AJ fight all while knowing it could potentially not happen? Strange decision making throughout, at first I thought they were trying to slyly bypass the Wilder fight to get AJ sooner but the fact that they never made an effort to make that fight, nor did they make any effort to negotiate a step-aside fee/guarantee at the winner with Wilder, just makes it more confusing. Was all this just to delay the Wilder rematch or are they doing all this to duck AJ? Weird behavior.
Because he was legally ordered to by an arbitrator and that will be held up in an actual civil case should it go to the next level. I really don’t get what you lot back in the U.K. don’t get about this. Fury CANNOT fight anyone but wilder next....period. He is legally bound by contract. It’s that simple. If he doesn’t he would be used for the projected pay that Wilde would expect from a third fight, cost of legal fees, and perceived damages. That would be the easiest 40-100m wilder will ever make

Best believe Eddie and SSN are painting the narrative for when they drop the WBO Title.
then Hearn will come out with some statement about how fury didn’t try to save the fight so “Why should we be dictated too, we’ve done everything we could”. But Eddie has rescued boxing right guys?

I mean Joshua had to wait til fury sparked wilder before saying he wanted to fight deontay.

he waited for fury to end Klitschko before AJ fought WLAD.

He waited for Deontay Wilder to spread Louis Ortiz on the canvass X2 before even considering a sparring session with him!!

and Femi is going around calling other guys the fraud? As a hard working black man, I hate everything AJ stands for. Racist. Arrogant. Ungrateful.
Olafemi is racist? How’s that work exactly?

You missed my point, I’m saying Fury should’ve already had the third wilder fight last December instead of all of this other bull****.

Team Fury just sat back and watch Eddie Hearn get burned and make a complete fool out of himself while laughing all the way to the bank. This only goes to show that Eddie Hearn has a lot to learn and growing to do as a business man. He allowed both his arrogance, exuberance, zeal and impatience to get the better of him.
You have said something quite godly here....you are so very correct when you essentially mention war footing strategy. I don’t know if young Edward had read The Art of War or The 48 Laws of Power but these books are golden for anyone who is on a leadership position controlling large amounts of capital and resources for the intent to increase both....sans a military background. Edward didn’t go to Sandhurst, didn’t serve in the Army, the Royal Navy, or the Royal Marines, he doesn’t understand war footing. He speaks like he does but no leader shows his enemies his arsenal nor does a leader enter into an alliance without contingencies (ie a plan b, c,d,e etc) if and when that alliance fails. Arum was playing young Edward, manipulating him to spend resources and burn time (all his time) to get that fight done...all the while it was public there was an arbitration afoot. The only one who didn’t seem to understand what arbitration meant is Hearn....the man clearly is an amateur at the arts of war played in business which literally mirror the battlefield for a military analyst or what the ancient Greeks would call a “Strategoi”.....a general.
Haymon and Arum are, Hearn is no strategoi. He is a blowhard who likes his face in front of the camera and when you do that you have to have something to say. Hearn I’m had an inherent flaw, and that flaw is “loose lips sink ships” famously personified in himself....

By the way, it’s clear tome that Haymon and Arum really don’t like Hearn. I remember when PBC came on the scene in 2015, you had multiple British fighters represented by Hearn fighting on pbc cards. That seemed to stop when Hearn saw the hat pbc was doing in the USA and wanted to take over that action...rather than work with Haymon, he wanted to put him out of business in his own country. Hearn made a grave mistake. Ask anyone who had been on the wrong side of a RICO charge, peace is always preferable to that don’s operations than a war with a competitor.....

That was your point? The pandemic prevented that. Now they will have a Vegas audience, ppv, and promotion. The fight couldn’t happen in the pandemic and make the sort of money it can now. Let us not forget those two set the record for gate to a heavyweight title fight in vegas
