Highly unlikely they will. WBC has been a wilder fan from the beginning. This is why he's ranked 1 and only had to make 2 mandatory defenses in 5 years. Thats also why he was able to hold a belt for 5 years. BUMSQUAD !!!!!

He should have thought Pianetta and Swartz like Fury and you'd be hyping him still.
Tyson Fury doesn’t waste his breath on Whyte because Whyte is literally inconsequential. He already lost to Joshua and because Fury has a strap he’s after unification at this point. Whyte is nothing but a gnat on a windshield. Is he skilled? Sure. However he’s leagues below anyone of Fury’s stature. He’d manhandle Whyte; body shots or not.

I actually think Wilder would iron Whyte out inside 5 rounds, even now.

Even if Whyte wins, he's still only 1-1 with Sasha.

A decided would be needed before a mandatory position is dished out.

if he wins, he's mandatory again but has to wait for the title shot.
they can't 'mandate' wilder nothing...it's upto whyte if he takes on anyone it will be voluntary which means he can use a rematch clause.

He is lucky to escape with the Rivas fight being declared a victory in Whyte's favor and not annulled or Whyte disqualified. In reality, Whyte became mandatory in December 2019 and everything closed in March.

2-3 months waiting is not a "****** long wait".
Semantics. An interim champion is as good as a mandatory nowadays. When Whyte was interim, Wilder didn't have any good reason not to fight Whyte. So what's the excuse?

The virus hasn't stopped the likes of Usyk pushing his Super Champion 'mandatory' position.

This probably doesn’t even mean much because no one is getting near the WBC belt in 2021 .
Wrong again ol deemer. The fight was sanctioned as a vol for the interim title. Pov won the interim title, not mando.

Of course. But if they do have an interim champion (whether we agree with it or not) then the only way to get rid of it is to have them fight the champion.
