I had an interesting thought regarding the "pick" for this fight... Now, the poster who posted those predictions, it is reasonable to assume, has a small sample of how any group of pundits would call this fight. Even....more or less, not exactly, but more or less... Usually our own community's predictions are pretty much on par with a sample of the pundits...usually odds work up to a similar conclusion, and usually? there are no real suprises. I mean... You won't make much on the spread, but if you took every big & mega fight coming up and put money straight down on the board's verdict... You would probably come out ahead a bit lol.

Heres the thing: On this fight there is a real BIAS here! People on the whole seem to think Povatkin will win this... and many, if not most, by KO. I find this a very interesting departure frankly. I was a bit suprised as everything I could tell from watching the last fight indicates to me that Whyte will win the fight, relatively easily.

I might do a thread... seeing if indeed, there is a bias for Povatkin that goes against what most somewhat knowlegable people think.

The virus hasn't stopped the likes of Usyk pushing his Super Champion 'mandatory' position.
      According to whom?

I think Whyte and A.J win setting up the rematch down the line . Whyte under 250 pounds is a better fighter ,Povetkin still a little heavier then he should be ,not good at his age . If Povetkin can win I will be surprised ,Whyte a bit underated but this forum is usually backwards so ? It doesn’t shock me most think Povetkin wins again . In fact I started using this forum to place bets ,just go against the majority on here ,it’s been working. .
Did you miss the part where I said that they fought for the interim title that neither of them had yet?
That's not a voluntary defense bud. That fight was to win a title.

P.S. In hindsight, it matters not, as Whyte won the rematch as I fully expected him to.

Whyte took the match voluntarily , this is where you continue to let emotions get ahead of what’s real and continue for me to say you’re wrong . The interim title was not awarded because of that fight ,it was a result of Whyte making the fight . The WBC made the first fight an interim title so not sure what you even mean when it was a voluntary fight ,it was never ordered it was agreed by both guys .
