You spar all kind of boxers when you train. Not just for fights. If you have been in the ring before you would know, even if you have done a few fight studies you would know, Pac was sparing everyone from Khan to Jose Benavidez (17) etc.. So yeah you DO get sparing wars mate.

Whyte lost the actual interim title when he got KTFO so unless there was rematch clause in the contract, Pov could cut him out of a shot had he wanted to. But I agree, AJ and Fury have the year locked up and rightfully so. Cannot wait

Whyte fought Povetkin voluntarily , he was the current mandatory at that time ,so there was a rematch clause both agreed to . No Povetkin couldn’t cut him out he agreed to the clause .

I think Whyte and A.J win setting up the rematch down the line . Whyte under 250 pounds is a better fighter ,Povetkin still a little heavier then he should be ,not good at his age . If Povetkin can win I will be surprised ,Whyte a bit underated but this forum is usually backwards so ? It doesn’t shock me most think Povetkin wins again .
