It's like watching Malignaggi to me. Sure Malignaggi has incredible footwork and handspeed, but it's not going to take a fight in the high drama, action packed, viscerally entertaining direction I want it to go in.

I don't understand how me liking fighters like Frazier, Duran, Gatti, Cotto, and Pac makes me ignorant. I don't enjoy watching Paul Williams fight. I don't enjoy watching Malignaggi fight. I don't enjoy watching Winky Wright fight.

Just because I like one type of fighter and think that some fighters are boring shouldn't lead you to believe I am ignorant and the fact that it does simply blows my mind.

And then I remember I am arguing on the internet.
That's not what you said. It's not about "who you enjoy watching". You said "Paul Williams was incredibly boring to watch" which is an incredibly ignorant statement if you truly know boxing. Now you want to back away from that comment as if you said something else. And Paul Williams style is nothing like those fighters you mentioned. And you're on the "internet" just like everybody else is here. So that tired cliche doesn't wash. Maybe you should stick to kittens instead of trying to intelligently discuss boxing.

First off comparing Paul Williams to Paulie Mallinaggi and Winky Wright is very ignorant.

Winky Wright is a DEFENSE first fighter. Paul is an OFFENSE first fighter. Where's the comparison?

Then you compared hands of feathers Malinaggi to PW? First off, featherduster can't punch, Paul Williams can punch (see his rematch with quintana).

I'm not trying to pick on you, but your comparisons were basically incorrect.

You also went on to say I like the Gatti, Cotto, Duran types... Those three all fight different styles, so what "type" are you referring to? Secondly, one thing that those fighters do all have in common is they all place offense ahead of defense... just like PAUL WILLIAMS.

So by your own logic, PW should be YOUR type of fighter. LOL!

Seriously? How is me saying "He is boring." and "He is boring to watch" different. Did you assume I meant "I find discussing him on the internet boring" "I find his cello playing boring" "I think his post fight interviews are sub par"?

Where did you read that I was implying that those fighters had similar styles to Williams? Was it in the part where I described the differences in their styles?

Seriously, at what point did your opinion trump mine? At what point did I not adamantly point out that I was stating an opinion?

At this point I think it's safe to say you and I aren't going to agree on anything.

Stay on topic. You know nothing about boxing. You're a biased fan boy with no logic whatsover. The sooner you admit that and accept it, the better off you'll be. "Williams is incredibly boring to watch" "There's no reason to fight him" "Pavlik KO's him in 4" "He's not avoided because he is good"................

Where did you read that I was implying that those fighters had similar styles to Williams?

Because you made a comparison. Your reading comprehension is as bad as your boxing opinions which doesn't speak well for you.

Again, I am only stating that Paul Williams want's more than he deserves. It's the same nonsense as David Haye. I don't care how crap the contract is you take it, become the champ, and then call the shots. Not the other way around.

And Paul Williams is boring. I'm not saying he isnt talented, I am just saying he is boring. He obviously isn't a Pac or Cotto, doesnt have the skill of Mayweather and he isnt as hilariously slick as Hopkins (by slick I mean kinda awesomely dirty). Paul Williams has long arms and ungodly stamina but is boring. You may not agree, but i'd say his lack of fan base kinda shows i'm not in the minority.
You are a complete joke. Paul Williams is boring? The guy is the opposite of that. Anybody who thinks Paul Williams is boring should watch TOUGHMAN competitions instead of watching boxing because obviously you are on the wrong forum.

The guy is a monster. You are some clown with kitten avs and either you are a woman or a ****sexual. What top notch fighters will fight him? Pavlik pussied out, Cintron already did, Cotto never went near him. Clottey says he will, but Arum would never let him. Mosley pussied out. De La Hoya bluffed when saying he was considering it. Mayweather doesn't want any part of him. He already beat the 2nd best MW in Winky. Sergei or Martinez? Please. Quintana a 3rd time? Maybe if Quintana can actually win a meaningful match. At first Quintana said he didn't want an immediate rematch and then months later he claims Williams is ducking him.

Paul Williams is a throw back fighter. A guy who walks around at 155, should be at WW, yet fights at JMW and MW. Morons on here say "he's a natural middleweight" because he's tall but he's big time lanky, his legs probably weigh 3 lbs. He is an all action fighter, hence Winky being in the best fight he had been in since forever. You and that other troll should just shut your mouths and keep it moving.

I find it odd that so many people want to attack my opinion and call me a joke. I have a different idea of what is entertaining and exciting that some of you do. I don't attack you for it and I would expect the same courtesy.

I already dropped one argument today over it, not looking to get into another.

Needless to say I find Paul Williams unentertaining to watch. Some will agree, some will not. Take it as you will. If you are gonna attack me over it to the extent some of you have then I imagine I won't really care what your opinion is either way.

edit: And what if I was a clown or a ****sexual, would it make you a bigger fan of boxing? Would it make you smarter or better? Grow up. I wouldn't attack a person over their opinion on boxing, but being a bigot just makes you a tool.
