Paul Williams seems to think that as an untested middleweight he can ask for a huge chunk of the purse against the middleweight champion. Paul Williams has basically no following, is incredibly boring to watch, and has a style that makes fights awkward.

He's not avoided because he is good, he's avoided because there's literally no reason to fight him.

That said, if they did fight Pavlik would probably KO him within 5.

Pavlik has his natural following in AC and PW brings the HBO money! Thats reason enough.

The problem of the majority of today boxers is they look for too much excused to prevent a fight happen. Paul Williams can win that fight, same weight if Pavlik fight smart can beat PW, but that is not the issue, the issue is PW is willing to fight anybody, also he will go in a higher category to challenge the champion, and that is a lot. Pavlik show your ball and stop looking for excuses to fight PW, if he does not want this fight, just play little Gayweather technique by saying PW is to green and won’t give you the money you want. That excuse has become so popular, why not to use it.

PWill is probably the most over hyped and over rated fighter out there. please someone tell me what has this guy done. Beat Margarito? he lost to quintana and all people talk about is the rematch. anyone can get caught with a punch and be knocked out. he was out boxed for 12 rounds by a c level fighter. and where is quintana's rematch? PWill is a good fighter but Pavlik (who i also think is a bit over rated) should not get dismissed for losing to BHop. Bhop is an all time great. Pavlik has faced and beaten better opposition and has lost to much much better opposition.

Man I was really lookin forward to seein dem fight. I mean we have two boxers who arms drags on the floor wen dey walk. But Paul Williams is def da man to beat pavlik in the middle weight divsion. I think pavlik is goin thru a mid boxing career crisis. From loosin to Hopkins to not b given an invitation for the super six tournament. **** like dat can really mess wit a boxer.

where have u been? that contract **** is old, has been settled....you're talking like PW's demands are what's holding the fight up....

also, i've heard williams called overhyped, overrated, but it boggles my mind to hear the term "boring" mentioned when talking about dude....if PW is "boring," i wonder what terms you use to describe guys like mayweather and hopkins, whom i also disagree with being labeled "boring."
