IMO Bradley was boxing circles around him, so Nate wanted to save his career so he found a way out and HOPED it was ruled a NC. Cotto was cut against Clottey even worse, and not even for a second did he think about quitting.
I want to know how someone can make a post like this before reading all the answers that have already been posted to the questions he asked.

The broadcast said the doctor saw blood behind his eye, so it is fairly clear that they were trying to describe blood in the ocular cavity without the common connotation of blood dripping into the eye.

That description with Nate describing spots, which is the textbook symptom of a torn or detached retina.
It would certainly have the same effect.

But I mean the stigma that would inevitably follow him if the retina wasn't torn, or any other serious eye injury suffered.

          Ali Funeka = Awesome.

Guy impressed the hell out of me with his heart in that Campbell fight.

And I know that's completely off topic, but I never get to talk about him around here because nobody around here seems to like him.

He had the early momentum in the fight though.

This has become into a ER ****.

STFU nobody here is a ****ing doctor. What we can say for sure, is that Campbell got butted and quitted because he was losing to a better foghter. he tought he was slick and got a way out.

If you are seen Blacks spots in your eye and **** you will star blinking and crap,. Thats ****ing commonsense.

Dude was OK, he tought he could get out, but he failed badly!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the same case of Guerrero

So did Diaz...untill a headbutt no less. (Campbell's body work still would have worn him down imo, but the headbutt helped a lot)

He might fight Joan Guzman for the vacant IBF title.

Negative, Campbelll was winning that fight for the first 4 rounds, he even KD Funeka in the 2.

Its not the same case at all!!!!!!!!

Yeah....Campbell seemed perfectly fine with "blood" in his eye.

I know what you mean, but you're wrong

All it takes is one good punch to start that and it did. The headbutt had him realing (sp), but it still could have happened with one good punch

When being attacked with multiple punches and a flurry like that, even if he was blocking most of them a punch could have still not made him see.

Do you have a picture of the cut btw?

A stigma like that can only be created by ******ed fans who don't understand the meaning of common sense.
If the fighter is explaining symptoms which raise the su****ion of a serious injury from the doctor, what choice do they have but to stop the fight?
