If Pacquiao is confident, why not fight at the WW limit if he wants a WW belt? If the idea is for Manny to be a 7 division champion, why not fight in the 7th division. Last time I checked 145 isn't a division. It's a weight that Cotto agreed to come down to in order to make the fight happen. As far as I can see Cotto has done everything to make this fight happen and Roach and Co. have done everything to disadvantage Cotto and capitalize off of their new found stardom.

Manny Pacquiao is no *****, but surely Freddie Roach is.

They agreed to a 145 non-title fight. End of story. If Pacquiao's team doesn't want that anymore, they'll have to deal with the consequences.

Cotto said if Pac wants the title it has to be at 147, and if the WBO wants he more tan gladly will vacat teh title.

Mosley, lost to Cotto! lol if the fight doesn't happen Manny the Diva will have to go eat more duck and chicken fetus' till the winner of Mayweather vs Marquez comes up, and even then it not guaranteed they will fight. Mayweather will want a bigger split, want it at 147, and Arum will not want the fight. And if Marquez wins he will not take the split cotto is taking because he just beat PBF, and top rank and golden boy are getting heated again over the ortiz remarks, so they will deal hardball and not accomodate manny's diva esque ways either.... This is really Manny's only choice to recieve one big payday before being sent to retirement, Cotto....
