Cotto agreed on a fight with Manny at 145. Manny wannted Cotto to come to him at 140. Cotto said no. Cotto wanted Manny to come to 147 LIMIT Pac said no...OK lets meet in the Middle! YES and YES! Both agreed. Shouldnt be a problem unless Cotto knows he will lose this fight. If he were confident in his self nothing would stop him from taking on or out the best P4P fighter in the world. INSTEAD he wants to risk losing his biggest PAYDAY and a shot of being sprung through the P4P rankings for some belt that was a gift to him anyway. Not to smart or CHICKEN ****? He hasn't changed his mind, he just don't think Pac should have the chance of winning a welterweight belt when the fight is not at the welterweight limit. If he don't play by WW rules why should he have the chance to win a WW belt?

If Pacquiao is confident, why not fight at the WW limit if he wants a WW belt? If the idea is for Manny to be a 7 division champion, why not fight in the 7th division. Last time I checked 145 isn't a division. It's a weight that Cotto agreed to come down to in order to make the fight happen. As far as I can see Cotto has done everything to make this fight happen and Roach and Co. have done everything to disadvantage Cotto and capitalize off of their new found stardom.

They agreed to a 145 non-title fight. End of story. If Pacquiao's team doesn't want that anymore, they'll have to deal with the consequences.
