Why do you guys care what Americans think. Americans don't give a *** what you think about their fighters.

Say what you want about this dude ; but that is certainly true.

When's the last time you saw an American fight fan post a thread asking Europeans if they like their fighters, and if so, why or why not?

Personally ; (And I'm an American) Lennox Lewis is my favorite European fighter of all time.

I'm starting to come around to Wladimir Klitschko as well. I think he's an excellent ambassador for the sport, and I don't see all the fuss about him being boring.

"Boring" is the poor man's way of saying "technical". And I like technical fighters ; Hopkins and Marquez are my #1 and #2 right now, respectively.

I am turned off by guys like Calzaghe and Froch though ; loud mouthed pricks who think they're the greatest thing since Ray Robinson.

But I'm also turned off by American loudmouths such as Mayweather as well.

Anyway, there's some info from this American fight fan.

Oh yeah ; Arthur Abraham is another one I'm starting to like.

I loved the Miranda fights and the way he fought through that broken jaw in the 1st one.

He's not the most skilled guy out there at 168 right now (that'd be Kessler), but he's certainly proven to me he's the one with the biggest set of balls.

And the way Pavlik shamelessly ducked his ass was wrong.

Be cool if B-Hop could join the tourney. He'd clean that **** up.

the majority of american writers picking lacy over calzaghe is not a crowning of jeff lacy as a great fighter (he only had what less than 25 fights & none vs great competition) but more of a referendum on the perception of american writers about calzaghe.

just because calzaghe dominated lacy who the majority of american writers favored doesnt change the fact that lacy was not a great fighter.

Everyone no matter where they are from hates Mayweather due to his brash trashtalking and classless behavior.

Boring and technical are often used to describe technical fighters, like Hopkins, Toney, Winky Wright and others but this should not be confused with Robotic. Many Euro fighters are Robotic not technical.

As for Good Euros out there, I would definitely put my hat in the Abraham bag. In fact I have a feeling he might take the crown in the 168 tourney. One thing I know is that Taylor, has probably the lowest chance to win and either kessler or Abraham will come out on top.

95 percent of the american boxing experts are wrong constantly. 95 percent of the american boxing writers are the same. Both are guys who most times dont know their head from their butts and pick the easy way out by not answering the question most of the time or being lulled in by the same hype that the masses do. How many of them though Hopkins wouldnt make it past three with Trinidad or that there was no way that it was possible for Mike Tyson to ever lose even if he fought a match in his sleep after limping away from a car accident.

Look at *********.com and look at what writers like graham Houston have to say. He never ever picks a winner and gives runaround answers. The boxing writers and experts opinions mean almost nothing. Many of them have not ever even had a pencil fight in their lives.

                  Indeed he would.

But I'm happy if he's intent on fighting the Dawson/Johnson winner, too.

Most likely that'll be Dawson, and Dawson can't fight in the clinch for ****. Infact ; he fears it.

Hopkins will have Chad doubting his abilities by round 5.

TS is correct, it really puts me off sometimes.

Its like in polls, I think that probably 70% of posters on here are americans, so if the poll is american vs european fighter, then half the american fighters votes and thats a fair reflection

quit being such a stereotypical generalizing dolt. just because you see some adopted home schooled smegma-esque asshats making threads on here about your vertical heavyweight champions, you think that gives you a pass to come in and make a whine thread? it's not our fault the only real heavyweight glory since before the klitschko's was cooper's knockdown of ali, bruno stunning tyson, etc. don't blame us for your fighters sucking.

now, calzaghe's the real deal. I feel sorry for people ate up with the haye hype, Haye is going to retire before the 2012 olympics. khan is not going to last on the world level, trust me.

You catch bigger fish in bigger ponds...

you go sparring in the country where there's no opposition and you'll be weak compared to a guy who sparred and started in an urban community where there's lots of toughs around, you know?

                      am I making sense?
