Represents one person in america, and it was trash talk obviously. (many fighters talk trash to hype things up or to get under others skin and no one said that this was the representative for the entire united states of America. (Granted it shouldnt have been said) How many Euros can we pull out of the hat that have made racist comments or other such comments. Would it be fair if I posted qoutes from those people and wrote of the entire continent for one ****** persons beliefs. But to go on a rant over that and generalize the entire U.S. by this one comment is ludicrous.
Why are Americans so negative about European fighters?

When a guy from US comes to Europe (once ina blue moon) and loses, then he gets disowned by the Americans. Like Taylor when he lost to Froch. How high is his profile in USA now? Or if he's not disowned, then they blame it on the judges or the weather or an injury. Pathetic...
What did Hatton fans say when he lost to Mayweather? He couldnt fight on the inside the referee didnt let him fight inside blah blah blah. Taylor was not disowned by Americans. Taylore fought Cory Spinks and arguable lost against a guy half his size. Then he fought Kassim Ouma and couldnt put the guy away and hit him with everything he had including the kitchen sink. Then he fights Hopkins and again he wins arguable twice. He Goes the distance with William Joppy in a fight where they could have roasted Marshmallows and watched telivision. Then he fights Pavlik and gets beaten badly the first time, the second time he loses then he loses to Froch after beating Lacy. He was a poor excuse for a champion and protected and he performed poorly in his fights. He was simply a bad representative and everyone recognized that. Note how he lost his HBO contract and went to Showtime. Americans didn't turn their back on him and disown him he didn't really stand out as a legitimate champ and he received a lot of gifts which didn't sit too well with many fans. A contender needs to take the title from the champ and a champion needs to win some fights convincingly without skating by on the edge every single time. Taylor failed to do either which made it hard for us here in the states to be forced fed this tv champion.
We didnt blame it on the judges the weather or any of that. Perhaps you should actually listen to or read what Americans are saying before making such statements.Comment

I DID listen and read what you are saying-too much! Golota beat Bowe twice and yet everybody in America treated him like a bum. Writers mocked him frequently, they ignored his boxer qualities, they just focused on the negative side, the lowblows. But I could see jealousy and anger under the surface. Anger that a European, EAST European even, had destroyed one of their best heavyweights. Roy Jones once said in a post fight interview, indirectly, that Rahman was better than Wladimir Klitschko. Isn't that ignorance? What did Hatton fans say when he lost to Mayweather? He couldnt fight on the inside the referee didnt let him fight inside blah blah blah. Taylor was not disowned by Americans.
