        That's my opinion as well.

Agreed. It's hypocritical to say "it's no big deal" if you favor the catch weight.

Up to this day, people still can't understand why Pac took the fight with DLH at 147. Do you honestly thought it wasn't a money/ploy/ exhibition-type of fight? Besides official weigh-in for the fight was DLH 145, Pac 142... the highest weight Pac ever put on for a weigh-in... and that is after 2 breakfasts btw.

              Doesn't mean a thing.

Pac fought at the welterweight limit before, against an aged vet who was a former champion.

But he doesn't want to tangle at the welterweight limit with a prime welterweight?

Its only 2 pounds, so why is it a big deal again?

DLHs previous fight was at 150, not 160.

I'm just saying that Pac was willing to fight a former middleweight, one who was aged and a part time fighter,

but doesn't want to rangle with a prime welterweight at the welterweight limit.

Thats bending the rules in ones favor, same as DLH did to Hopkins.

I find it funny how people make such a big deal about the catch saying it should be at 147 but the Marquez - Mayweather fight shouldn't even be happening because Marquez is to small for the smallest welterweight?

Because its actually only 1 pound for cotto but 5 pounds for pac, if they fought at 147 then it's no pounds for cotto and 7 pound for pac. Wtf is wrong with people
