If the poundage is too much for Pacquiao, why is he trying to fight welterweights in the first place?

Because Pacman has balls the size of watermelons. You know he doesnt give a crap about what weight it is. Just his team. If Roach gave him the green light to fight Pavlik at 160 he would fight him at 160.

I would think a mixture of money and the talent thats in th WW division, also the interest is in the fighters in the WW division, thats who the people want to see. I don't think there's be much point in fighting another JWW, it won't add to his legacy, beating Cotto even at 145 will, I think that even 145 is unnatural for him though so adding to that even more is just too much.

The last time he fought a WW he came in at 142, id be surprised if he even comes in at 145, thats why it's such a disadvantage

I agree. I don't think Manny really cares, its his team that is making this an issue.

If all you Cotto nuthuggers/Pac Haters say so, then why not put your money on Pac instead? If you really believe that at 145 weigh-in then blowin up 15-20 lbs on fight night that hes still shot/drained then wtf i dont know what else to say...
Theres a reason why Roach and company want it at 145. I don't think he will be weight drained but he also won't be as strong. There's a reason behind everything and I'm sure Pacquiao's camp knows this

I think it's pretty clear, i've given many reasons, if you'd rather waste your time talking ****e than debating them then fair enough. Do you think he should fight a JWW instead, who do you suggest

The only thing clear here is you claiming that for some odd reason, Pac needs to have a level playing field when fighting in the welterweight division.

If his team doesn't feel he can handle the pressure of the heavier fighters at welterweight, they shouldn't be campaigning to have fights at welterweight.

Its pretty simple really. For Cotto, 2 pounds should be no big deal, but for Pacquiao, 2 pounds below the actual welterweight limit or no fight.

                    Smells like horse**** to me.

It's up to whoever is fighting him to make the decision on whether to fight him or not. I could understand your point if they were fighting for the WW belt but theres nothing on the line, it's just a fight and one most people want to see.
