    That's the point, right there.

Negotiating for the sake of negotiating is pointless and childish. 145 or 147, who cares right? Exactly why it should have been at 147.

I still think cotto coming in at 145 wont make him a jr welterweight and he's still a formidable welterweight at 145, top 2. But alot of people like to think 2lbs is the end of the world.
Especially the ones who won't allow Cotto to come in at the welterweight limit of 147.

They are the ones who obvoiusly think its the biggest deal.

        Great post Joe Kapp.

Remember everyone "two pounds doesn't matter, but Pacman needs those two pounds or else the fight won't be fair." :wank:

Man I really didn't know that Cotto had so many mammas. If it is so unfair and he will be so weight drained that he can't move, it's simple don't fight Pacquiao and agree to those terms. If Cotto agreed to the weight who are all of us to say he is incapable of competing to the best of his ability? Isn't he the best judge of his body? Whether you think it's fair or not, COTTO AGREED.

Cotto weighed in at 146 against Clottey.

I doubt a extra pound will affect him.

If 2 pounds is no big deal,

              why not fight at 147?

If all you Cotto nuthuggers/Pac Haters say so, then why not put your money on Pac instead? If you really believe that at 145 weigh-in then blowin up 15-20 lbs on fight night that hes still shot/drained then wtf i dont know what else to say...
I honestly dont think its an issue anymore.

Everyone knows 145 is fine and possibly beneficial for Cotto o make sure he matches speed with Pac

                  ^^
That's the thing, I really doubt it will change the outcome of the fight, pretty ****** decision for Pac's team, I think.
and it will also be pretty ****** for PAC to go up at 147 and fight a natural WW

This guy gets babied more than any fighter ive EVER heard of. Manny has only fought 3times in the last 1yr and half over 130lbs. You dont hear Pac Fans crying
