The Toney win was by far the biggest win of his career. they should both fihgt at HW now and then retire.

Roys career is his 20s and early 30's

Bernards career is his 30's to early 40's

Bernard has more "names" on his resume... but most of them had to move up to fight him

Roy has less names on his resume... but he moved up to beat all of them

      Bernard has 20 title defenses

Roy was the first MW champion to goto HW in 106 years, and he continued it even further by regaining the LHW championship, immediately after...

      Their careers are incredibly close.

These where the big ones for Bernard and he failed. Now i won't **** on him for losing to the versions of the fighters when he fought them. A lot of fighters would have lost to those 3 fighters at the time when he faced them.

Still Hopkins = 0-4 in his legacy fights.
depends how u score the fights..in my opinion he didn't lose any of these fight..maybe draw against taylor in fight one..how many times did u see b-hop get hurt? how many times did u see him duck anyone? how many times was he ready to face the best? b-hop is a true legend in any way a boxing great right next to thomas hearns

Roy wins even now. The Jones that beat Sheika would be enough.

If you think he didn't lose to Jones, you're tripping. You can argue for all of the other ones, though.

Tito, Mercado, Echols, Johnson, Eastmen, Pavlik, Winky, Tarver, DLH, Joppy, be real now. Plus I had him beating Calzaghe and clearly winning the 2nd fight against Taylor. So fuck off *****!

COSIGN BORING-HOP is severely overated and probably the worst fighter to watch if you trying to win over new fans of the sport

WHAT? You mean he beat himself. He sure as hell did not beat these guys. He lost but he lost only because he refused to go to war.
I like Hopkins but I refuse to blindly hug his nuts on falsehoods such as saying he beat these guys. I still can't believe he was unable to beat Taylor

Hopkins is still great when he want's to be.
Just heard that Hopkin's has no fights lined up. I think I smell retirement for sure now.

                  HOF'er for sure.

i fail to see how jermain taylor is a legacy fight. he was a prospect who accomplished nothing before he fought hopkins and was just built up by hbo. looks like some people fell for hbo's manufactured bull**** hook line and sinker. besides the 2 gift decisions he accomplished nothing after he fought hopkins cept for a win against cory spinks(yay!)

too bad jeff lacy wasn't a middleweight so that could be his legacy fight like the princess of wales.
