Or you not going respond to that?
im pretty sure that neither fighter entered the ring at 156 i find that hard to believe, if they did genuinely do that (enter the ring and fight at 156 then i suppose hopkins does deserve credit as he dehydrated to a lower weight (for him anyway) and fought. but like i said i dont think that happened, they did rehydrate and DLH's decision to hold the bout at a cathweight should show you that he knew he was no MW

as for hagler, hearns and co well they fought in a different era before these issues of weigh in 24 hours before and rehydrating etc all came up. but here goes hearns is an exceptional case because of his size, he was a legit MW. duran was big guy himself, i mean he actually won the title at SMW!! with leonard i supose you have a case, if hagler had beat SRL the critics in me would have said he beat a smaller man but SRL debuted at LWW anyway and was just about big enough for MW (unlike DLH who started out at LW). it doesn't matter though as hagler lost anyways.

      DLH started out at LW?

Wasn't Duran a LW at one point?

Not my favorite at all, but he is an ATG hands down. I think beating Tarver really help his career bigtime. But I have to give it to the man the 3 fights were people thought he would lose, he proved the critcs wrong. Tito, Pav, and Tarver. There is also no shame to losing to Jones. I thought the Taylor fights could have gone anyway. The Calzaghe fight was horrible from both fighters

Really? You know how many fighters would go down and stay down from a great body punch? People underestimate how much a body punches hurt, there is a reason fighters are taught to go to the body.

It sucks that people underestimate body blows especially liver shots.

These where the big ones for Bernard and he failed. Now i won't **** on him for losing to the versions of the fighters when he fought them. A lot of fighters would have lost to those 3 fighters at the time when he faced them.

Still Hopkins = 0-4 in his legacy fights.
Since when was beating Taylor legacy defining? He wasnt even a belt holder till that point. Funny when he loses those fights become legacy defining. Beating Jones when he fought him would have have been legacy defining either, Calzaghe is the only fighter on that list worth mentioning.
