Only man to KO Oscar De La Hoya(well really KO)
    His Glory Past 40?
    Never lost in his prime...
Winning fights he was supposed to lose countless amounts of times...

    Get the hell outta here...
    QFT.

    Hopkins taught me boxing.

The way he beat Pavlik that weight wouldn't have meant ****

You can say wat u want about the Winky fight. B-Hop hit em and clinched all night. Like he said before the fight Winky had ****ty legs. And Winky walks around even heavier than 170 between fights...
Anyone HOF type of material could of beaten Joppy. Dude picked on an old ass Duran and people bragged about it.

Pavlik sucks....all he did was have Taylor's number....what has he done outside of that?? Jack ****.

Fool please!! That's like me saying Hatton should be a Light Middleweight cause he walks fat as hell between fights.

No not at all.. Trinidad had his best days at 147. A win over William Joppy didn't show ****, but at the time he was looking unbeatable so a lot of people overrate that win, imo. Logically, Hopkins should have obviously won. I think the Tarver win was one of his top 3 wins because of the fact that he was at the tail end of his career, which was only really marred by a Jones loss (he could make arguments for the others) and he was somewhat vindicated by outclassing the guy who everybody knew as "the dude that knocked Roy out"...

In fact, I think B-Hop's 3 greatest wins are:

Glenn Johnson (let's see Glenn's whining fans justify that one, lol)
          Kelly Pavlik; and
          Antonio Tarver.

            Who mentioned Joppy?

Taylor was the middleweight champion...I guess that doesn't count for nothing...add in Pavlik was heavily favored to win the fight

Add in wins over Trinidad, Johnson, Tarver, Echols, Allen, and Holmes...20 Title Defenses...you can only beat who's out there

Bernard gave Roy his most competitive fight in his prime as well...

Yea ur right...I don't factor in weight too much when someone gets schooled as bad as Tito did.

I don't think the weight would have mattered...

When you consider the fact that there is no way in hell that it could have been competitive if Hopkins had fought Tito at 147, then you would think it matters. Weight is a big issue.
