Growing up watching the show myself, the producers or creators of the show had to had laughed each time those terms were mentioned in the film.

Tonto in Spanish does mean '******' or 'dumb'.

Kemo sabe, on the other hand, is not so easily discernible since there's been wide speculation about what it exactly means.

I think it could be interpreted in Spanish to mean: Que no sabe: "He who doesn't know", with a bit of word play.

But, yes, JDJ and Campbell could have used a different term to mean that Manny hasn't really faced slick styled boxers like a Whitaker, Guzman, Mayweather, or dare I say, Malignaggi.

But that would not raise enough eyebrows as would "African American fighters."

And it does make it seem like they are after Pacquiao as well.
