If Pacquiao wins this fight he does not deserve to be called welterweight champion. The fight will not be at the 147lb limit and Cotto will most certainly drain himself to get down to the weight Roach wants. If Pacquiao is going to tell Arum to go ahead and make this fight happen, he should do it at the welterweight limit. I dont care if you are the so called pound for pound king. He will be called the best welterweight in the world if he beats Cotto. Which is a bunch of bull ****.

Why are Cotto fans think that Miguel will drained himself at 143? Is he old or shot? I don't think so... Cotto is a "Tough Bad Dude" in full welterweight and his the bigger guy between the two. This is the mega-fight that he is asking Arum for a long time before hi9s thinking jumping ship to other promotions. Giving Pacquiao some concessions for being the P4P King and a much Bigger Draw is not bad for him because his if fighting a guy who have more to lose and little to gain. But, i hope Pacquiao Fights Mosley if this match don't workout?!

Obviously Manny doesnt think he can beat a healthy Cotto. You have more confidence in Manny than he does in himself

Almost every fighter weighing in is weight drained. Isnt that the freaking point?

How many times was corrales weight drained at 130 & 135?

                    Hugo Cazares at 108?

                    Paul Williams at 147?

                    Pacquiao at 130?

                    Castillo at 135?

                    Abraham at 160?

Those are just off the top of my head.

                    Making weight = weight drained.

Nobody was b*tching about those instances. Thats because weight drained crap was first glorified after the oscar fiasco.
this is not true most fighters at a young age have no problems makin certain weights, most rehydrat to a higher weight after the weigh in to have an advantage it's not until a certain age where a persons metabolism starts to change when makin weight actually becomes an issue an example is erik morales who fought most his career at 126-130 and then just couldn't make the weight class anymore and if you watch his rematch with pacquiao erik looks like he is dyin during the weigh in

Does Pacquiao really even want to fight Cotto? I don't understand why he feels he needs this advantage when it's Cotto who appears to be deteriorated. This kind of changes my opinion about this fight being such a forgone conclusion. And that may be Roach's angle to make people think this fight will be competitive. I don't know for sure. But after seeing Cotto struggle with a fighter who is good, but economical with his offense made me think that he didn't stand a chance against the Pac Man. But these weird ass weight demands that Roach and Pacquiao are demanding makes me wonder if they even think they can beat Cotto if he's on top of his game. Cotto is no De La Hoya or Hatton, I'll give him that.
