The only way I see Cotto winning this fight is if he can hurt pac man. If weight is a problem and he can't hurt pac it will be a long night for Cotto and be prepared for his face to open up again, but I don't see him getting KO'd. If Cotto can hurt pac man with his punches especially to the body thats where I like the KO.

This tells me that this fight won't even happen. Pacquiao better be willing to fight Mosley then, because he is willing to drop more weight than Cotto is willing to do. If Cotto does in fact turn this fight down with Pacquiao he will gain my respect. It's not so much that I think Cotto is undeserving of a fight with Pacquiao, I would just rather have all fighters concentrate on fighting the best fighters in their own division. I don't even want Mosley to whore himself out for a fight with Pacquiao, which is what he is doing. That's where I've got to give Cotto credit, because it appears that he is not falling for Pacquiao's game.

144 or 145 probably.
manny doesn't really care.
it's roach just trying to get whatever concession he can for pacquiao.
unless floyd steps in......it's cotto-pac in november.

And unlike Roach, I think Manny does care about his legacy, and he is in danger of throwing away a chance to reach for the stars and achieve true greatness, and to be rated alongside fighters like Henry Armstrong.
I used to think that Pacquiao was a completely different kettle of fish from Floyd Mayweather, and that he puts legacy above risk-free money, but his reputation in that respect is being seriously damaged now.

I think Cotto should stick to his guns with his 145 pound demand. At this point I think Bob Arum would favor that also considering that Cotto has one year left on his contract an nothing has been officially signed anyway for this fight. It'll be a way for Arum to milk one more big payday out of Cotto before they part ways as Cotto stated he would after the Margareto fiasco.

why do people see this as roach trying to get more of an advantage?
there's another side to the coin , man.
how about roach trying to get manny at less of a disadvantage?
whether the fight is at 143 or 147. cotto is still gonna come in around 160 or so.
and pacquiao is the *****? manny has no idea what the hell is going on.
this is all roach trying to get the best deal for HIS fighter.
got nothing to do with pacquiao.
pacquiao would fight cotto at 160 if his team tells him to.
