We already know how Pac looks above 140, he was fast, furious and carried some hurt. We don't know how Cotto will look below 147, but I'm guessing it would be too much of a weight drain. This doesn't sound fair.

This is soooooo ******ed now. Does Roach actually like the idea of fighting drained fighters all the time? I mean wtf now. I totally got it when they fought Oscar because they wanted to get Manny's name out no matter how bad Oscar looked due to the weight loss. But now asking an elite fighter whose still fresh and really has no business going below 147lbs to go down to as much as 143lbs is just ******. Manny won't get credit no matter how you see this, and even Cotto might not as they'll just say he was the bigger man and too strong for Manny. I mean, the fights suck at 140lbs but they gotta do something better.

It won't collapse, it's still at the negotiation stage where all the nitty gritty details that will eventually be worked out. They will fight at 144, I'm sure of it. Let's not go overboard on the hate posts for Freddie Roach, he doesn't deserve it.

With Oscar / 147, Roach has made it pretty clear that it was a one-off that happened to be worth the massive payday. He thinks Manny fighting at 147 is pushing his luck. I agree, as Pacquiao only hydrates to approx. 148 on fight night. I mean damn, he ate full meals on the day of the Hatton weigh-in and still only reached 138lbs. He is not a big dude.
