Hatton got 48 against Manny. He got 40 against Floyd. You know the way this one is going.

Marquez hasn't been given the oppurtunity to get acclimated to the weight where as Floyd had. Is that even arguable in your opinion? Because it is certainly relevant.

      Mayweather welterweight division: 4th
      JMM welterweight division: 5th
Paul Williams welterweight division: 2nd (started at 160)
Mayweather: 80% of his career at Superfeather weight
Hasn't been there in 8 years.

JMM: 90% of his career at Feather weight
Hasn't been there in a year.

      lets be serious.

Whatever motivations is behind the comments you just made, are not the motivations of somebody who is a fairminded person and a objective person.

I thought you were one of those if you can make the weight you are a welterweight kind of people... I guess not.
Anybody can eat their way into a higher weight class....does this mean they will still be as effective?

you only apply that standard when it suites your argument. but when it doesnt suite your argument you complain about the purity of weight divisions.

      sounds hypocritical imo.
but at the end of the day
your opinion is very valuable because like it or not on my behalf.
the world needs people like you.
Please....show me where I've ever said one fighter should have to fight a bigger guy without getting in a few fights at that weight first to make sure he was still able to compete. I'll be waiting for it, or an apology, because I've never been one of those posters who say any fighter should just move up and take on the best without testing the waters and making sure his skillset is largely intact.

cotto would enhance pac's legacy because pac would be the only 7 division title holder if he beat cotto. (yes cotto's belt is on the line if they meet at a catchweight).

There is another word for what Floyd is doing here, and we all know it, don't we?

dude is going down to 143, about the same weight cotto and rest of those guys would have to come down to to fight pac, what the **** is the problem with that?
floyd will likely come back at 147 with marquez in the area of 144, in the end its not that big of a ****in deal. but i bet youd have no problem with someone like cotto showing against mayweather at 158 come fight night while mayweather sits at 147.

That's the point. It is 50/50 anything other than that can eat ass.

Ahh, but Floyd is a not a natural welter, so he's just going to a weight better suited for him, right?

Floyd has shown the ability to handle the weight at 147 and not only be effective, but dominant. When has Marquez shown the ability to handle anything over 135, let alone Floyd? Take your time I'll be waiting.

Because 35% is a total insult and even your hate should see that , like the other guy said if Arum wants 65% the fight wont happen ,,, Floyd will have victories over Hatton and Oscar which he did first and they were better versions than Manny fought and Floyd will have stopped JMM by then , and your telling me Floyd should except 35% , this fight should be real close to 50/50 and if Floyd is impressive stopping JMM he could probably get 55% of the purse .

Oh? Which is why Marquez was willing to make the jump to 140 to follow paquiao, he stated that MANY times, knowing pac would be tied up in a fight with hatton he called out mayweather jr and mayweather took the fight. This is the number 2 fighter p4p and you are treating him like some kind of club fighter. Marquez was going to move up no matter what.

Again, if pac and marquez fought a 3rd time, which had been expressed many times, the fight would likely be at 140, with pac showing up at ****in 148 by fight time, i bet youd have no problem with that now would you?

Why should i be apologetic for marquez throwing himself out there to a guy KNOWING hed have to move up in weight, something he was going to do anyway. The fight is at a catchweight, 3 lbs above the weight he planned on moving to anyway.

Would you object if he would have taken on timothy bradley at 140, and bradley showed up at 146 on fight night?

You also probably have no problem with cotto draining himself to an unhealthy 142 so pac himself can have an advantage. You are asking me to show you when marquez has shown to prove himself above 140, but MARQUEZ is the one who wants to show that, and hes doing it against the p4p number 1 and hes ****in p4p number 2. It helps that floyd isnt that far up on the division ladder and was willing to come down, but since its floyd, this is a problem.

At least Roach is making some sense.Floyd is the big fight out there and Floyd sells

This is the most LUDICROUS statement I have ever seen.
Floyd has next to zero real fans......he is booed in his hometown of Vegas.....

                      are you feeling well?
