Because Mayweather would like to have an advantage

Never said he wasn't, my man. But Cotto and Mosely are bigger legacy fights considering the question marks Floyd has left at 147 by retiring before fighting the best.

Considering Hatton got 48%, if I was Floyd there would be no way in hell I would take 35% I would tell them to F uck off.

To be honest the fight should be 50:50. or 60:40 winner takes the bigger cut.

Shane is past, Cotto would enhance his legacy more because....he is bigger? Is Pacquiao's win over Hatton greater then his win over MAB?

Mayweather wants 60/40, Arum wants 65/35, 2 hard headed sob's, but they'll meet in the middle. If it were up to Arum, Cotto or Valero would get the shot first, but if Roach and Pac insist on the fight happening, it will happen. The fight is too big not to.

Lol, how much more of an advantage does he need? You guys are always claiming he isn't a natural welter. Well, now he could have fought at his natural weight and had the advantage of bringing Marquez up and into untested waters. There is another word for what Floyd is doing here, and we all know it, don't we?

I think so. MAB is a higher all time fighter, but Pac had more to overcome against Hatton and destroyed him in epic fashion.

Now if you had asked me would it be a fair fight with Floyd coming straight from 135? Hell no.
So you think Floyd Mayweather vs. Paul Williams is a fair fight
but JMM vs. Floyd is a huge mismatch

                      Mayweather welterweight division: 4th
                      JMM welterweight division: 5th
Paul Williams welterweight division: 2nd (started at 160)
Mayweather: 80% of his career at Superfeather weight
JMM: 90% of his career at Feather weight

                      lets be serious.

Whatever motivations is behind the comments you just made, are not the motivations of somebody who is a fairminded person and a objective person.

I thought you were one of those if you can make the weight you are a welterweight kind of people... I guess not.
you only apply that standard when it suites your argument. but when it doesnt suite your argument you complain about the purity of weight divisions.

                      sounds hypocritical imo.
but at the end of the day
your opinion is very valuable because like it or not on my behalf.
the world needs people like you.
