Im just going by the words that came out of Floyds own mouth. Truth is, he doesn't need the money. MY opinion is, he lied when he made that claim about only coming back for legacy. If he didn't he wouldn't be taking in a jr lightweight his first fight back and would be chasing both Cotto and Mosely. I would have had more respect for Mayweather if he had said "yeah, Im going to protect my undefeated record by smaller guys who bring in more money". At least he would have been being honest.

Come on Jab, you serious? JMM is just a tune up, Pacquiao is for legacy, regardless, even if he was coming back to add to his legacy, he isn't gonna get played dirty. Mayweather is clearly the bigger draw, a 50/50 split is perfect

Not at all. Im thinking he's 35 years old and jumping two weight classes he's never fought in is a major liability towards his fighting style. That it will effect him in his speed, stamina and ablity to get his punches off. Do you disagree?

Im not sure I agree he's the bigger draw. But even if he is Im willing to bet he wouldn't be flexible in negotiations even though this is supposed to be about legacy. The bigger legacy fights lie at 147. The bigger money fight is Manny. This is about money.....always has been.

I didn't say I want Pac vs Cotto, I'm sayin Roach never planned on puttin Paq in there to begin with. I couldn't even believe it when I first heard Roach say he wanted Miguel for Manny. That's not Roach's style, he doesn't put Paq in a fight unless there's some notable advantage in Manny's favor. The guy has to be slow or ass. Miguel is neither..

I think both are fair fights for the simple fact that Floyd has had plenty of time to adjust to coming up in weight and has shown that his skillset hasn't suffered dramaticly because of it.

Now if you had asked me would it be a fair fight with Floyd coming straight from 135? Hell no.

It very well could decide the winner when we have no idea how Marquez is going to perform moving up so far in weight at the age he is at. And if it doesn't decide anything....why wouldn't Floyd go down asnother 3lbs than?
