Which is why Marquez was willing to make the jump to 140 to follow paquiao, he stated that MANY times, knowing pac would be tied up in a fight with hatton he called out mayweather jr and mayweather took the fight. This is the number 2 fighter p4p and you are treating him like some kind of club fighter. Marquez was going to move up no matter what.

Is any of this a fact? No, its not. But even if they did fight a 3rd time at 140, they're both closer in weight and the time they've had to adjust to moving up then Floyd. Is that arguable?

Yeah true ,,,, normally people look for cheap entertainment in these times and at home with a few buddys watching a PPV is very cheap entertainment , I dont think the economic times have anything do do with PPV numbers if anything the big fights should do better , liqueur smokes and drugs boom in hard times as does ******** both legal and illegal , the fight game has always done well in recession and it boomed during the great depression .

But the difference is the smaller guy is only 4lbs smaller instead of Floyd being 12 pds smaller as with Oscar , and the smaller guy is in the best form of his life while Floyd is coming back after a long lay off .

I look at it differently. 147 to 154 is a 7lb difference. There is an 8lb difference between 135 and 143. The even bigger difference is Floyd was moving up to fight the older man. This time the older man who has never fought near that high before and is moving up. It his age the chances of that weight gain having a negative effect are much more probable than it having a positive effect. would you agree? This fight is about money, all the way around.
