Plus, Cotto has sold over 300K and over 400K. Juanma couldn't do that right now.
Puero Ricans would name Cotto out of 10.

Juanma apparently has more charisma, and is already a more likeable guy and actually calls out names and says who he is interested in fighting. He's not a robot that sounds like he is just following a script. Already calling out the big dogs, Vazquez, R Marquez. Cotto never called any one out. Juanma will surpass Cotto and Tito, even Tito himself says it, that's why he's in every Juanma fight congratulating him after every win and you see no signs of Tito in Cotto fights.

if cotto wins against clottey would it change your mind?

i agree it's a pick 'em as far as who you consider #1.

Probably, just based on Shane's inactivity.

            Cotto > JuanMa

Talking about numbers, Cotto's PPV' numbers are on par with Juanma's.

            =P

Remember Cotto has a chance to impress or not impress (or even lose) to Joshua Clottey, between now and then.....

The outcome there will have something to say about Pacquiao vs Cotto status.

Cotto has been obliterated less than a year ago. How does that make for a mega fight?

No. He has not. And i would respectfully challenge you to validate that statement.

It would be bigger in the US than the Hatton fight. Pacquiao's legend has grown a lot more since that KO and Cotto is more known in the US than Hatton.

Of course this would be a superfight. I think it would be great to have this fight, and the winner fight Cotto.
