This is what I've been saying but people don't listen. SSM isn't afraid of Mayweather, when people say "Ducking" I take it a different way, in my opinion, Mayweather wasn't that big of a name at the time, for Shane to take that risk. I don't think Shane would have ever faced DLH had he lost to Mayweather, which would have happend in my opinion

Why fight Mosely or Cotto when Pac is better. Pac destroyed Hatton, in much worse fashion than he did himself. Pac will beat either Cotto or Mosely. He has faster feet, faster hands, and has killed Oscar and Hatton. WTF are you talking about fight Cotto or Mosely. Then he would be ducking Pac. Why fight one of those guys over the top pfp fighter in the world. You just sound like a person who doesn't want to see Floyd beat Pac. If he beat Pac he deserves to be called the best because as it stands right now, noone else can. Not shane, and definately not Cotto. Cotto would be looking like Hatton.

Yes, Pacquiao is a great fighter. We all agree on that. But if everyone would stop drinking the Kool Aid for a second you would realize that all great fighters lose, especially fighting larger and larger opponents. What happens when Pacquiao can't hurt someone like Mosley, who no one has ever come close to knocking out? Are you saying Mosley's hand speed for his age isn't good enough of a match for Pacquiao? Come on man. Be serious. Mosley vs Pacquiao is not fair at all to Pacquiao, but if that happens don't say I didn't tell you so.

The reason we want to see PBF fight at Welterweight isn't to "duck" Pacquiao. The man has unfinished business at WW and was considered the best in WW until the moment he "retired". That's why we want to see Cotto and Mosley fight him first, not because Pacquiao doesn't deserve it. And finally, Mayweather has the counter punching style to beat Pacquiao. Did you see the first Morales fight, or either Juan Manuel Marquez fights? Well there you go. Apply it.

Agreed. Furthermore I don't really care who ducked who way back when. The fact is, Mosley is considered as the #1 man at welterweight RIGHT NOW, so why does it matter who ducked who? If anyone is ducking someone, Floyd is RIGHT NOW. Shane just said he asked for the fight from Floyd and Floyd said no. Is that not Floyd ducking Shane, the man widely regarded by most including The Ring as the top welterweight?

Ultimately, if Floyd wants some respect, he needs to convincingly beat either Cotto or Mosley. As good as Marquez is, he is going to be at a disadvantage against the pretty boy.

Whoever wins that fight, will most likely be looking to add another title to their collection. “I just believe that I’m still young and feel good. It’s in me, it’s in my gut. I can’t retire yet.”

“I’m willing to wait until the end of the year, if it meant waiting for another super fight. For now, my plan is to see what happens on May 2, but to let both Pacquiao and Hatton know that whoever wins, I want them next.

“If I can’t get that fight, then we’ll make an offer for Miguel Cotto to come out to Vegas to fight me.”
