It was just a different era, it's not like Frazier was the first person he said these things about or the last.
The same things were being said to black people by black people all over America at the time.
Ali is still the greatest.
Not from anything that Frazier siad to him or about him.Comment

Ali got death threats, sure. But not from anything Joe Frazier ever said about him.
And his family never once had to suffer from anything Frazier said.
Unlike Joe's kids who had to live with death threats, people beating the **** out of them at school because Ali said Frazier was a race trader, etc.....Comment

I don't recall Frazier ever saying Ali was a draft dodger.
I seem to remember Joe Frazier supporting Ali's religious beliefs, and defending his choice not to go to Vietnam based on Muhammad's religious beliefs.Comment

Frazior said if i remeber from the other HBO documentary....
I would have went to war if my country ask me too...
and beyond anything..Frazior call ali clay.. knowing that was the name that white racist would called aliComment
-
He also said these things long after Ali started talking about him.Comment

I think you're confusing him with Joe Louis, who touted his service when asked about Ali's refusal to be inducted in "Ali/Frazier 1 : One Nation Divisible".
And Frazier only resorted to calling Ali Clay after Ali pretty much drug Joe's name and reputation through the dirt.Comment
