Which is why you have to take the effectiveness of those punches into account.

The problem for Chavez was that he wasn't consistently beating Taylor to win all rounds, he had some big rounds and in some he was totally outworked.

Bernard and Mayweather almost never take that kinda punishment though so those are bad examples.

so...what? are you trying to tell me that a clean punch with little power behind it should be worth just as much as a clean punch with a lot of power behind it? forget that.

and Chavez was landing some VERY clean shots throughout the fight.

Thats because you're ****** and thought you knew what you were talking about, just like every other post you make.

No didnt say that, not sure why you would say I said that.

A judge had Chavez ahead, sad.

Yeah and thats part of boxing especially when judges are scoring the fight. Thats somthing that is never gonna change.

thats the trick. and thats why Chavez was losing on the cards, despite him doing overall more damage throughout the fight.
how do you know diaz punches were doin more damage besides the punch that seem to hurt marquez in the 2nd marquez seemed fine and his punches were more percise wher as a lot of diaz punches were partially blocked or marquez was rollin wit them.

any way the point i'm tryin to make is that it is not that easy to tell who is doin the most damage as far as the chavez taylor fight taylor lost he seemed to be winning he didn't answer the question he lost **** it

when floyd was younger and at the lower weight classes he would get hit more than he did when he was at 147
