This probably has a lot to do with the Legendary Nights episode.

That said, the fight should have gone on. Steele had a brain fart of epic proportions, and Taylor lost a lot because of it. He would probably be in the HOF by now if he won.

Taylor lost because he couldn't answer a simple question, the same question he was asked twice.

In Taylors case it was because his face is swellign up like a balloon and he was bleeding from the mouth and nose thru the entire fight.
Plus Chavez didn't even look like he was in a fight! Seriously when you are sitting ringside it's not that hard to tell the diffrence when you compare it to watching it on TV. Ringside you can feel the force of the Blows and you can see who's doing more damage.

Its very possible, Chavez battered many fighter's faces not just Taylor's, his close relationship with Marg, surely he probably knew Marg was using, their friends. Its very possible.

I guess all Blacks are criminals then, since Bernard was one, we have to assume that all Blacks hes affiliated with are criminals as well.

theyre there, but all of those criterias just highlight the fact that damage is the end all be all. they all translate into 'whos doing the most damage?'

think about it. if youre winning all four of those catagories, youd be the one doing the most damage, right?
thats why the people that assume such things cant score fights for ****. just because youre seen as the bigger puncher doesnt mean youre automatically the one landing the bigger punches. theres a lot more to it than that.

No, if youre landing the cleaner punches doesnt mean youre doing the most damage, that was evident in the Chavez-Taylor fight, Taylor landed more clean punches in the fight but his face didnt look like it.

not true. Diaz WAS landing the bigger punches and doing more damage...but only in SOME of the rounds.

OVERALL, Marquez was doing more damage. he was only barely behind in damage done in the rounds that Diaz won, while Marquez did much more damage in the rounds that Diaz lost.

thats the trick. and thats why Chavez was losing on the cards, despite him doing overall more damage throughout the fight.

a glove hitting another glove also makes a loud sound and i have seen plenty of fights where the commentators who also sit ringside get excited by a punch that hit all glove but the sound makes them believe that a punch landed
