You can win on points without hurting someone. Look at Ivan Calderon.
Your opinion about what that poll means is irrelevant - you said that no one thought Malignaggi would win, and regardless of the reason, a lot of people did think he would win.
And as I said, some fight preview articles I read predicted a Malignaggi win, and none of them predicted that Hatton would win as easily as he did. Most thought Hatton would be out-boxed for much of the fight but would win in the end due to his power. In fact it was Malignaggi who was out-boxed, and none of the previews I read predicted that.Comment

LOL you're so funny..
Mayweather beat Hatton because he's on another level. FACT. No excuses there.
Hatton probably would have beaten Oscar that night.
The Malinaggi win isn't the best, but Malignaggi was not weight drained or negatively affected in any way and so the win should not be downplayed for those reasons. Yes, he is c/b level, but it was a very easy win for Hatton.
I'm a Hatton fan but i'm not deluded to the truth.Comment

by the way,did he really beat collazo?watch it again and listen to the annocers and lederman scorecardComment

Agreed. Hatton isnt a stick and move, in and out type fighter. Hatton would of lunged in and Oscars jab would of had a target. Im not saying Hatton wouldnt beat Oscar but FOR DAMN SURE it wouldnt be a lopsided win. Delahoya would find his target in Hatton.Comment

A loss is a loss, no excuses. It was DLH's own fault that he was weight drained. The man has absolutely no one to blame but himself. He deserved to lose, 100%. But the point is, you can't judge how well Pac will do against anyone else at 140 and above based on that fight, because that version of DLH was a big decline on even the version who fought Forbes. Pac fought a great fight that night, but he wasn't really tested.Comment
