I can be wrong come May 3rd but I went against my gut on other fights like Mosley/Margarito, when my gut told me that Mosley had a chance but I slept on him for the hype.

Then it was Juan Manuel Marquez/Juan Diaz, when I picked JMM months prior but changed my mind like a week before. The only reason why I picked De La Hoya over Manny was because I'm just not that sold on Manny like the majority. Something tells me that his biggest challenge is coming up & not too confident that he will beat Hatton. That's just my opinion but can be proven wrong, and if so, I will man up and give Manny his props if he wins but I'm going with Hatton.
not so sure why that feeling is so strong inside?maybe you're falling in love with ricky or maybe marquez!

ricky can't even beat zab,no way he can beat oscar

Your opinion about what that poll means is irrelevant - you said that no one thought Malignaggi would win, and regardless of the reason, a lot of people did think he would win.

And as I said, some fight preview articles I read predicted a Malignaggi win, and none of them predicted that Hatton would win as easily as he did. Most thought Hatton would be out-boxed for much of the fight but would win in the end due to his power. In fact it was Malignaggi who was out-boxed, and none of the previews I read predicted that.
hatton did not box paulie out he clearly won the fight but he did not out box any one, most of the fight was paulie duckin and fallen into hatton and most of the punches landed by hatton was when paulie was pullin out of the semi clinches

Mayweather beat Hatton because he's on another level. FACT. No excuses there.

Hatton probably would have beaten Oscar that night.

The Malinaggi win isn't the best, but Malignaggi was not weight drained or negatively affected in any way and so the win should not be downplayed for those reasons. Yes, he is c/b level, but it was a very easy win for Hatton.

I'm a Hatton fan but i'm not deluded to the truth.
not deluded to the truth, all fans think that but iguess you're someone special

by the way,did he really beat collazo?watch it again and listen to the annocers and lederman scorecard

                • Please, Hatton would've had problems against DLH that night.

Agreed. Hatton isnt a stick and move, in and out type fighter. Hatton would of lunged in and Oscars jab would of had a target. Im not saying Hatton wouldnt beat Oscar but FOR DAMN SURE it wouldnt be a lopsided win. Delahoya would find his target in Hatton.

But the point is, you can't judge how well Pac will do against anyone else at 140 and above based on that fight, because that version of DLH was a big decline on even the version who fought Forbes. Pac fought a great fight that night, but he wasn't really tested.
a loss is a loss,no excuses then you go on saying dela hoya was weight drained, what kind of bs is that?
